"I was incredibly impressed with Pizzeria Sunrise! Despite it being a Saturday night at 8:30pm, a typically chaotic time, the service was impeccable and the dishes arrived surprisingly quickly.
The quality of the raw materials is evident in every bite: the ingredients are fresh and of the highest standard, making each pizza an exceptional dining experience.
But what really makes Pizzeria Sunrise unique is its incredible inclusivity. I have rarely seen such attention paid to dietary requirements: the menu offers specific options for celiacs and lactose intolerants. The gluten-free and lactose-free pizzas are true works of art, expertly prepared without any compromise on taste or texture. It's fantastic to find a place that puts so much effort into ensuring that everyone can enjoy delicious pizza.
I would highly recommend Pizzeria Sunrise to anyone looking for not only great pizza, but also a thoughtful and inclusive dining experience.
We ate an excellent gluten-free and lactose-free pizza, the flavor of the tomato and mozzarella was excellent at a reasonable price. We were well received, the place is clean, the oven is separate. They are very prepared for gluten-free
A bad (expensive) figure
I'll start by saying that the quality of the food was good - except for the calamari, which I suspect were squid and in any case a bit hard/rubbery - but overall it was a disappointing evening, especially having ten guests who I cared about a lot.
I chose this restaurant because on the website it was presented as exclusive, attentive to vegan and celiac needs, with a rich and interesting menu. Unfortunately, the reality was very different:
• The menu on the website did not correspond to what was actually available in the room.
• The only vegetarian/vegan second course indicated was not available because it was "out of season" - but then why keep it on the menu?
• The service was slow (almost half an hour to take the order, an hour to eat), disorganized (starters and second courses served together; one diner was left without a dish for a long time) and often distracted (errors in the orders, little attention to the tables).
I understand that the ambition is to offer an elegant and refined experience, but elegance and professionalism are not built only with a beautiful venue or a high bill. They require consistency, attention to detail and, why not, even a little humility.
An evening that should have been special turned into a bad impression. A real shame.
Reservation required with penalty in case of no-show? It's okay, I accept the rules and book for 10pm. It's a shame that, having arrived on time, we are immediately informed - with a fake "let's hope it's not a problem" - that there is no gluten-free option, no 3-cook pizza and several other products on the menu are unavailable. Small details, right?
At that point in the evening, obviously, we had no options. Strange, however, that the emails to remind us of the reservation (and the penalty) arrived on time, while no one deigned to warn us of the absence of half the menu.
The pizza is good, the service too, but after weeks of waiting to be told "we opened to please customers" almost sounds like a mockery. Why not, we weren't happy at all.
Ps. In the end I took a DOC, which I could have eaten even close to home without making the 1 hour drive.
All you can eat formula, includes appetizer of fried food and pizzas. Possibility of having everything gluten-free with an extra charge
. Friendly staff
Very nice experience, excellent quality food, super delicious pizzas, everything impeccable, super friendly staff, delicious gluten-free pizzas, 😋😋😋.. not to mention the VERY ELEGANT location, I recommend you go and try it as soon as possible.
Gluten-free pizza, Neapolitan! Doc, really... I haven't smelled the scent of quality tomato for a long time. The dough worthy of a pizza. Not too soft but rather crispy and light. Compliments to the pizza chef.
You forget that you are in a busy and chaotic street if you eat at Sunrise! Impeccable in organisation, so everything goes smoothly: short waits, elegant mise-en-place, delicious dishes and generous servings. Quiet environment, despite being frequented by the little ones, who can romp around in the play area, well soundproofed for patrons.
One of the very few restaurants in Caserta to offer gluten-free pizza, complete with an oven isolated from the rest! And there is also a vegetarian menu.
Well done, well deserved success
I went to their restaurant and also ordered takeaway. Everything was good, excellent pizzas, friendly staff and also excellent because they have gluten-free options for both pizzas and fried foods.
We are disappointed, I don't think we will return
A pizza at the table and a gluten-free one that after having gone around the place was reheated and brought to the table telling us that it had to be done again... it was so hard that an electric saw was needed to cut it... never again...
Evening experience on 04/25/25 not crowded place.
Unfortunately our review was negative, we returned a few years later.
Let's start with the experience of the gluten-free pizza, it was sent back because it was totally raw, remade but the product didn't change, both the top and the dough were terrible, soft and chewy, practically like chewing gum.
The other normal pizzas were raw on top, burnt on the bottom, tasteless, practically inedible, all left.
First course Genoese pasta, overcooked pasta and cold sauce, how do you serve dishes like this.
And at night with stomach ache, in 6 people.
Not to mention the running waitresses is not a pretty sight.
I'm so sorry, there needs to be more organization and quality in everything.
I'll start by saying that I've only eaten here a few times but I'm a person with a strong gluten intolerance and it's difficult for me to dine out, I have to be careful with everything... I had a good time at this pizzeria because they make gluten-free pizza, the only downside is that during the summer you can't book but you have to call to book the dough for the gluten-free pizza (it's a bit confusing).... Out of three times I've eaten here, twice I ate very well without any consequences and I had a great time... the last time I was very disappointed, we were told that on Saturdays they can't make gluten-free pizza anymore even if you call in advance but during the week they do... the pizza inside was very thin, there was a lot of tomato sauce, more than it should have been... I asked for a simple one: tomato and a drizzle of oil but they also added a few basil leaves which I have to avoid for other reasons... I only managed to eat two slices when suddenly I got very strong cramps in my stomach making me feel sick all night.... even an intolerant person has to be careful about what to eat don't feel bad, finally you find a pizzeria where you can eat peacefully but in this way very disappointed and personally I won't go back.... staff always available, kind and friendly, very nice place...
We went to Tommy's for the first time.
Well, it's been a long time since I ate so well but above all with generous portions.
At the starter (about 10 courses), we were almost full, we moved on to the main courses (mixed fried and sliced meat with rocket and parmesan), very good.
What to add... simple 5⭐
P.s. also for celiac people.
Tonight I had the pleasure of eating at this very nice place. We started with various appetizers including pulled meatballs, which I highly recommend and corn dogs which were good for my taste but a little cold inside. Afterwards we took both hot dogs, sandwiches and burritos, all very good and excellent portions for the price. Possibility of AIC certified gluten free. Super recommended!
Finally, after years of culinary dissatisfaction, I found a place where everything was almost perfect, from the courtesy of the staff to the excellent food, of quality, cooked and seasoned in an excellent manner, and above all of quantity, where now everywhere they make minimal portions, making them cost an arm and a leg. Congratulations also for the possibility of eating gluten-free. It's a shame you don't live in the area, but if I were to end up in Caserta again I would happily go back!
My favorite restaurant ever! Comfortable and familiar environment, kindness and smiles, extraordinary dishes! From the appetizers to the dessert everything is really delicious!!! Gluten free dishes are also available, what can I say... perfect!
All excellent... or rather “Formidable”!
The sandwiches are delicious, I recommend phenomenal with burgers, pistachio pesto, mortadella and croquettes, a real pleasure! Very large menu with omelettes and croissants of various flavours! The pizza is also excellent quality products! They even have gluten free!
I recommend this place
It is a place where you can relax and have fun in company or with your destination.
It is highly recommended for those who are lactose intolerant and allergic to gluten
🔝😍
Truly positive experience, exceptional raw materials, preparation of top dishes, impeccable service, kind and ready to meet our every need, celiac lunch from starter to dessert, owners are very kind and exquisite people, 5 star experience well deserved, congratulations to you for your commitment, we had a great time and will return to you as soon as possible.
Elegant and welcoming place, with kind and prepared staff. The food is excellent, the menu is extensive and also offers gluten-free food.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent.
14MIGLIA, small fish restaurant in the center of Caserta.
Modern and very lively place, good food, excellent service thanks to the kindness and professionalism of the owner, fair bill.
Gluten-free options are important and decisive.
what to say "I LIKE" and we will definitely be back.
Excellent food accompanied by the courtesy and professionalism of the owners and all the staff. Attention to the customer and his requests even when it is necessary to improvise an off-menu for a celiac person. An enchanting garden and so much kindness to feel at home! We will see you again soon! Thanks for the beautiful evening.
We stopped before entering the highway, even though it was a little late, they were very kind to let us sit. Everything is excellent and of good quality, and also equipped with regards to gluten-free. We will certainly return again.
Went last night with my family. I reluctantly have to give 3 stars...our expectations were very high!
Clean and pleasant environment, bathrooms equipped with changing tables which are also clean... we ate outside.
Staff quite poor and slow. We went in at 8.45pm to be served the pizzas at 11pm... at first we thought it was because there were people, but shortly after we realized that two tables that arrived much later than us, were services and had already finished while we waited again and again despite the impatient requests of us asking a boy where the pizzas were...he didn't even give us an answer but shrugged his shoulders and left! The only really kind one was the boy with the pigtail and glasses (I don't remember his name) who apologetically brought us the pizzas and at the end also offered us the bitters. He was really courteous, but all this was of no avail because after all that waiting my aunt (who by the way was the birthday girl) received a raw pizza, (gluten-free pizza... and no, it wasn't white for that, I assure you it was raw!) Furthermore, for her there wasn't any type of appetizer suited to her needs... they only brought her two slices of raw because according to them it was only what they had (but they still don't have gluten-free products in the 2024?!) And so, on her birthday, the poor thing started watching us eating some appetizers and an appetizer.
Another flaw is the bread. It's the first time I've been to a pizzeria that doesn't have bread! And believe me I have been to many places where you can eat!
For the rest the other pizzas were good, but nothing special. I repeat, the expectations were very high and instead we left very disappointed.
In their favor I must say that, having understood the mistake, they also gave us a small courtesy discount. Although we preferred not to have it and be served better and on time! We thank you for your consideration.
Would I go back? I don't think so, if the service remains the same, I'm sure no... my 3 stars go to the really good appetizers, to the kind guy I mentioned earlier and to the place which is really nice anyway. For everything concerning the remaining part, no... I'm sorry, there is a lot to improve. Sometimes customers also prefer a product that is not at the top but a polite (asking a question to know how far along they are with the pizzas and having a waiter who shrugs and goes away is not very courteous!) and qualified staff... and unfortunately you sinned in this yesterday!
Place located in a splendid mountain setting, welcoming and warm staff... Well stocked for celiacs and gluten intolerant people (they even had gluten free beer)... Highly recommended
In the room, there is a homely atmosphere. The location is very convenient, easily reachable from the Royal Palace. I had lunch with my celiac son and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable, he was also able to enjoy the pasta with potatoes and provola!
The appetizers are tasty, the meatballs with sauce are good, it's a shame that I found one raw. The roast beef was a little tough. Overall it was a positive experience!
The place is very nice and characteristic, I would recommend it for events and birthdays, it offers gluten-free solutions only fried from appetizers to pizzas, I liked them but I would also have liked a choice of normal gluten-free pizzas. I will definitely go back to try other things.
