My family are difficult to cater for, coeliac, vegetarian and one who is not very adventurous with food. It was my daughter's Birthday and we ate here. OMG the food is amazing, fresh, loads of choice, great portion sizes, inexpensive. Staff, warm friendly. The whole family were catered for, will definitely return. If you aren't GF, dont let visiting this amazing place put you off, you would never know it's GF. I had the arancini, my son had the mushrooms on toast, my daughter had a burger, all the GF food is so tasty , not like supermarket alternatives. GF or not, go to this amazing place.

I may be bias but the gluten free is amazing here, my mother works here she makes all the gluten free cakes and afternoon teas as well as all the other goodies but the care taken by the team is honestly wonderful. I’ve eaten here countless times and found that mostly everything on the menu can be accommodated to be gluten free

The chicken and waffle was absolutely divine. The crispy, perfectly seasoned fried chicken paired with the golden, buttery waffle was a match made in heaven. Every bite was an explosion of flavor—sweet, savory, crispy, fluffy—all at once. Whoever came up with this combination deserves a medal. Then came the blueberry pancakes… and let me tell you, don’t let the words “vegan” and “gluten-free” fool you. If anything, they made them even more incredible! Light, fluffy, and bursting with fresh blueberries, these pancakes were pure perfection. I was skeptical at first, but one bite and I was completely sold. The latte? Simply exquisite. The coffee-to-milk ratio was spot on, creating the smoothest, most balanced cup I’ve had in a long time. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the barista surprised me with a beautifully crafted heart design on top. The attention to detail was unreal! Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but trust me, every single penny is worth it. I will definitely be coming back very soon!

Great first time experience. Food was not only quick but delicious when it arrived. Good selection of Beer too. Venue is very accommodating for Gluten-Free diets. Served by Sadid, Eva and Mareey, all of whom were amazing for our needs.

Birthday vibes at Church – Temple of Fun 🎉💜 Had my birthday meal here and honestly, it was amazing. The staff were so friendly, and they even wrote “Happy Birthday” on a slab on the table – little touches like that mean a lot. The vibe was chill but quirky – lights, colours, and cool stuff on the walls (neurodivergent-friendly big time!). There’s a photo booth, pool table, PlayStation area upstairs, and I’ve heard they do live music too, though I only came for food this time. All the food is vegan – and trust me, even the meat-eaters in my family were shocked how good it was. They were reading the menu like it was in another language 😂 but ended up loving every bit. They actually wanted more! I had a lush mocktail and even grabbed a tee from the merch stand. My mum has really bad dietary needs (gluten-free, soy-free, vegan) and the staff went out of their way to sort her something proper. That meant the world – not everywhere does that. Whole night was just spot on. Food, vibes, staff, all of it. If you’ve got ADHD or autism or you’re just a bit quirky like me, this place makes you feel right at home. My only concern was the toilets — my mum has lung disease and the only ones we were shown were up a very steep staircase. I didn’t see any downstairs or get offered an accessible option. If you use a wheelchair or have mobility issues, I’d recommend calling ahead to check if they have accessible toilets. Not all disabilities are visible, so it’s just something to be aware of. If you don’t need that, it won’t be an issue — but I always include things like this for others with diverse needs. Thanks church for helping make my 40th a good one ! ☝️ 🫶🏽

Love the red deer. Particularly big fan of the vegan fish and chips 😋 and the deep fried pickles. Regular rotation and wide selection of real ale and other drinks. Also, good selection of gluten free food.

Love the gluten free pizza here, but I cannot recommend anything else from the gluten free menu. I ordered a seekh wrap which is meant to come with lettuce and chips, but this is how the wrap arrived. Made me feel a little sad :(

We’ve visited multiple times…great staff and service, and the food is consistently delicious…great for gluten free too, which is how I found this place. Can’t recommend enough! Oooh and the cocktails are incredible too!

I looked around for a Gluten Free Takeaway near Totley and stumbled across Mr and Mrs Cod. The staff were incredibly helpful and the food was amazing. I can normally tell that food is Gluten Free - but the Fish and Chips was outstanding - I really couldn't tell. My kids all had Fish and Chips and absolutely loved it. The staff told us about a deal they had for the kids - and the price was really good. Many thanks - that was lovely

Amazing food as always, but today for the first time I tried the jalapeno and cheddar cornbread (gluten free) for the first time and was blown away....!! So so good 😊

After a few years coming back to Zizzi, it was worth it! The food was amazing, staff friendly and nice, atmosphere great. Waiting time was short. There are a few different options for anyone who is vegetarian, gluten-free, or with any allergies, which is great. I would definitely recommend this place and for sure I will come back!

Went there for Sunday roast. Great beer and even better food. I had an amazing pastrami seasoned brisket roast, my partner had the tomato, olive, capers ect. gluten free oat loaf. Both tasted exceptionally good.

Good range of gluten free options. We had summer spring roles, lemongrass chicken rice bowl and lemongrass chicken gf noodles. Enjoyed the fresh herbs and aromatic flavours. Restaurant busy with nice atmosphere for a late Saturday lunch

We attended on a Monday night for a family meal with three children and four adults. Two of the party required strict gluten free food and our server Samanta was precise and careful with her menu advice. There was a lot of GF options and some possible mitigations. We enjoyed a range of high quality starters, mains and desserts and one of the Coeliac diners was blown away by the GF pale ale. All in all, a wonderful weeknight dining experience with a pleasant atmosphere and attentive and friendly service. We felt very well looked after and look forward to returning.

Finally, Sheffield has a decent gluten free fish and chips shop! The fish was super fresh and the batter was light and crispy. I would rate this as very very close to the best fish and chip restaurants I've dined in, including Rick Steins in Falmouth and Mr Chips in Whitby.

Really delicious food and set menu is good value for money especially with the 20% off offer! We had a coeliac guest and they catered really well for gluten free, we contacted them on social media and the recommended preordering for allergens via email to ensure no cross contamination. They were very well informed when we got there and made sure to inform us that the soy sauce was GF as well as the courses and what adaptations they had made to cater for allergens. Two young people who love what they do and it shows in the quality of the food. I very much enjoyed chatting with the owners and learning about the cuisine. It's all gluten free and the vegetarian options were amazing. My favourite was the homemade gulab jamun and chai. You can also take your pooch along too if you have one. What more do you need?

Leanne was bloody brilliant. An absolute ray of sunshine and made our night! It was my birthday and I was so grateful to receive a free drink. The savvy b I had was delightful and the pickle margarita was PERFECT! Our food was wonderful - special mention to the crack mac and cheese and the Crunchwrap - I’m certain your food is laced with addictive substances. I was accommodated with use of the disabled toilet (that will teach me to drink too much and fall down hills) and my mother in law said ordering with her gluten allergy was a breeze. The bill was so reasonable considering what we had and I cannot wait to come back.

Myself and my partner had a beautiful meal here. The staff were brilliant and took their time to understand my needs as a celiac. There were extensive gluten free options on the menu and the kitchen assured us that they would be prepared separately to any gluten. I have a strong reaction to the smallest amount of cross contamination and I felt absolutely fine after the meal. We can’t wait to go back!

Absolute treasure of a place. Staff friendly, food and coffee delicious, and very reasonably priced. Asked for a sandwich made from sourdough as I have a slight intolerance to gluten so I eat sourdough instead of normal bread as it is better for me. They didn't have any but sent a member of staff across the road to get some. Top customer service. And the apple and strawberry crumble my partner had was beautiful.

My partner and I visited recently and bought cannoli’s. When I grabbed one out the bag, I found it was covered in caramelised nuts. These were listed as being gluten free, but with zero mention of nuts. Being allergic to peanuts I went and asked what nuts were in them in case I needed to go to hospital and I was just told they contain ‘nuts’. It’s concerning that they can’t clearly state what contains nuts, or what nuts are in their products.
