We had an amazing afternoon tea here. Woburn Coffee House is a beautiful building & decorated so tastefully. They catered for vegetarian & a Gluten free and they were just delicious. We had 3 stands (1 normal, 1 veg & 1 Gluten free) and they brought them out together, at 1st glance they looked the same but clearly they catered & made them look similar! Staff are attentive without being overpowering and talk through your Cake stand before they leave you to indulge πAll the savouries were so delicious and as for the sweets, well they were out of this world! If you want a traditional sandwich afternoon tea then go elsewhere but if you want a delicious tea experience in lovely surroundings then do not hesitate to book here - I already have!

Really lovely restaurant , took my Uncle and needed somewhere to eat that was quiet enough to have a conversation but still friendly and not silent ! The Birch was perfect . Staff were really helpful and guided me to a great gluten free option on the menu . Highly recommended as a great place to eat in a lovely environment with good food .

Didn't take pics of our food..it was a birthday dinner! But this is one of those gems that people brag about finding and MANY lesser establishments pretend to be. The real thing.. a gastronomic delight! Seriously good, unpretentious and while at the upper end price wise, is astonishing value for money. Also has proper veggie, vegan and gluten free options that are not tokenism but read tasty enough to tempt a carnivore! I had a pork chop that was served on a totally awesome compote of butter beans, bacon and courgette that was creamy and a bit reminiscent of stroganoff! And had crackling frags on top! MeJulie had a steak and ale pie, her chum a Dover Sole. It was delicious. I had the three cheese selection for afterwards. British and damn high quality, they were truly excellent. Julie was not as impressed by the rhubarb trifle...and after finishing it for her(!) both felt it needed a tangy something and was a bit bland. Katie who served us, was a star and clearly cares about and is proud of the establishment she works for. Just gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere. If you are not going out as much, THIS place is worthy of your new austerity entertainment budget! Loved it

What a great find, snuggled away in the village of Woburn. The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and the service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. I was also extremely pleased with their gluten free options as I am a celiac and often have some difficulty eating out. They took my condition seriously which was so refreshing! Highly recommend.
