I cannot praise the Kraken enough. Last Saturday we brought a group of 23 girls and 4 adults to the Kraken. I had previously liaised with Becky who allowed us to pre-order. On the day Becky and her staff were amazing. The food arrived promptly and everything was delicious. Really great value too. One of our group is coeliac and her needs were catered for without any fuss. The pods were warm and cosy. Nothing was too much bother for Becky and her staff. Thoroughly recommend a visit : )
We went here on Sunday 26th May. It was busy but we got a table near the window. 2 adults are both gluten free and vegetarian and a child. The server was very knowledgeable about allergies etc. We were able to get a gluten free toastie and tea which was lovely and child got sausage and fries. The cafe is dog friendly and there was a few dogs in which we didn't mind as we are dog lovers. I would highly recommend this cafe. Lovely friendly staff 😊
It's highly recommended if you're traveling, as the kitchen is open almost all day. It has a considerable amount of vegetarian and gluten-free food, which is appreciated.
An amazing spot with amazing service! We celebrated our engagement with brunch out on the sea front - it was absolutely amazing.

Fabulous food, great service, went on 3 occasions whilst in Portrush. Consistent, tasty food. They didn't have gluten free bread, but I took my own and they were happy to toast it along with my breakfast 😀 Would highly recommend them if you're in the area.
***Update 18 months later, we returned a few times while staying in the area. Everything was as expected, still consistent delicious food and fantastic friendly service ***
The pizzas are amazing! Very tasty and the gluten and dairy free options are perfect too! So great to have this option so our little girl who is dairy and gluten free can enjoy too. We are often limited in places we can eat out because of this so it was such a treat for us all! I don’t often leave reviews but very grateful for the service and catering to all needs! Very impressed! We’ll definitely be back :)
We had a great meal in here on Saturday evening. It was very busy but the service was friendly and prompt.
The food was delicious and huge portions. I needed gluten free and our waitress helped me brilliantly, no problem at all.
