The Carbonara was excellent, like being back in Italy. Staff was professional and friendly. Gluten free pasta was available and prepared correctly, nice selection of Italian wines and local beers and whiskies.
Best coffee in Kirkwall! Lovely selection of cakes, with vegan and gluten-free options. Had their vegan carrot cake, and it was the best carrot cake I've had. Super friendly staff and cosy atmosphere!
Will do gluten free if you ask. There is a limited choice obviously but they are conscientious and will check ingredients before advising. Just make sure it's obvious that you cannot have any gluten at all if you are coeliac rather than it being an intolerance. It wasn't any trouble all the questions I asked them about it.
Nice place to go for beers and eats - they have a good selection of draughts and their food is tasty, albeit a bit expensive for small-ish portions. They do wing it wednesday where you can get a 3 course wing meal for £10 which is ace. They also have some Gluten Free options which is great!
