Setting+decor:
We had such a wonderful lunchtime experience here today. It is a lovely restaurant,it is quite an old and small building but I love the views from the pass area of the Wetherspoon’s garden. I love the posters here and that adds to the dining experience. This restaurant gets very busy so I would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. It is a great place to eat after visiting Windsor Castle or doing the Duck tour. The atmosphere is nice in here too.
Food:
.10/10
.It is fantastic that 100% of the food menu can be substituted for a gluten free option. The only food that contains gluten is the regular burger bun but it can be substituted for a gluten free bun. Some food contains gluten free oats though, but that is very few options on the menu.
.The food being fresh makes all the better difference to the taste and quality of the food. You can taste the freshness in the food.
Order:
.Gluten free Honest Burger with no lettuce-Delicious,everything was so delicious, complemented eachother so nicely and the beef in particular was well cooked
.Rosemary salted chips-A personal firm favourite Honest Burgers favourite. The chips are delicious and the Rosemary salt and seasoning sets these chips apart from other chips that I have eaten at other restaurants in the past. The chips are also triple cooked too which is nice!
.Chicken wings-I just love them, again they are another personal firm favourite from Honest Burgers, the spice has a little kick to it but it tastes so lovely and the guacamole adds flavour to the wings. All the flavours nicely compliment eachother and the chicken was well cooked.
.Onion rings-Perfect,crispy,crunchy and the onion itself was very nice.
.Slaw-Fine but fresh.
.The portions for everything is so generous and it feels like you are getting your moneys worth. Portions are not stingy here at all.
.The weekday lunch menu is incredible value!
Service:
.Friendly staff+food came out quickly.
.The first question we were asked when we were placing the order was whether there were any allergies.
.The allergy order was taken first.
Toilet cleanliness:
.Very good.
Would I reccomend?
Certainly.
Genuinely such a serene, warm place perfect for any time of day. As someone who is very prone to reactions to certain ingredients, I am so grateful to the Garden of Eden for being such a great option in Windsor. The owner is a lovely person and even took me to have a look at the kitchen, which is meticulously organised to ensure no cross contamination of things like gluten etc. The array of baked goods, and meal options available on the menu is also incredible, and would say is probably the best place to eat in Windsor. They have my favourite baked goods ever, and I can have it knowing it won’t trigger a reaction/allergy. The waitress I am often served by is also super kind and is well aware of my usual order (I’d really recommend the rainbow bowl) and always checks if I have questions. Places like these are super rare, so I’d really recommend it to people to try it as you’ll probably end up becoming a regular! Would also recommend to families with small kids - the most wholesome environment with a kids play area. Lovely to have such a sweet place nearby, with such a good ethos and atmosphere (and importantly, high quality, VERY delicious vegan food).
We had a fairly good meal at the Ivy, my fellow diners are awkward and tend to order off menu, which the staff dealt with very well. The reason for the 2 star is the lack of gluten free alternatives for my 10 year old celiac daughter. She was told she could have grilled fish, or grilled chicken, that is it, she couldn’t even have chips. The waiting staff were polite, and knowledgable, and completely embarrassed by the situation. They seem to want put flour in everything there for some reason, completely unnecessary Ivy, must try harder.
Delicious food and the smoothest humous! They catered for gluten free and even my 10 month old couldn’t get enough of the flatbread. Excellent customer service as well. Would highly recommend!
Could only give full 5 star!!! Great staff, feels like a family coffee shop, not another franchise and they have GLUTEN FREE bread to go with the normal menu!!!!!!!
No better place to enjoy tea, lunch or dessert! The Mac and cheese was the best we’ve had in all of our travels, including any in the US! They had incredible gluten free bread as well and were very accommodating! Friendly service, family owned and absolutely perfectly quaint! Felt like a scene out of a movie.
Gluten free? This is the one. I’m still thinking about the halloumi, prawns and octopus 24 hours later 😋. Lots of (paid) parking right across the street. Treat yourself!!
Best gluten free and dairy free pizza ever! Usually I struggle to eat out in most places but their choices here are so good! Really friendly staff, super helpful and absolutely best pizza I’ve had in a long time!
Gogos was the epitome of great service. The best thing is they are pet friendly. The service is fantastic. I am Gluten Intolerant, and so I had to get the manager to let me know what I could eat. The option was only a chicken burger with a GF bun, which I ordered but then decided to try the day's special, which was Venison Curry. The manager went to check with the chef about my GF options a couple of times and was very patient with all my questions. Our little Doggie sat people watching under the table and got a few pats from the staff, which he enjoyed 😀
The ribs I am told were melt in the mouth and delicious, so was my Venison curry. Lovely flavours and perfectly cooked meat. For dessert there was a black coconut icecream which was delicious and we even got a free portion as they had served extra. To my delight, the server made
let me know it was Gluten Free so I devoured that despite digging into some from my neice 😄
Went for lunch and find it hard to believe that for £7.95 they could produce such a beautiful two course menu. The food was a feast on the eye and full of flavour. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'm gluten free and was given a slightly adapted first course. Can't wait to return.
Our server Claire was so helpful and welcoming. She assisted me with a gluten free meal and ensured our party was catered for at all times during a busy December evening.
Been to the Richmond branch a couple of years back. Lovely little restaurant in Windsor tucked away, gluten free pasta options also. Lovely welcoming service
We had brunch at Bill's in Windsor this past weekend, and I'm always so happy to find a place that has a gluten-free menu. I decided to go for "Bill's Big Brunch" (Gluten-free of course) which was tomatoes, fried eggs, toast, a sausage, avocado, beans and potatoes. I so wanted to love it but it was SO BLAND. The only thing that had any flavour was the vegetarian sausage. Staff was very friendly and it's in a great location near Windsor castle and the train station.
Staff very helpful. I am gluten intolorant so was very happy when we went to have an ice cream they said that they do have gluten free cone. They were wrapped up in seperate packets 👍. The lady serving even changed her gloves when she went to do mine and she even had a seperate ice cream scoop. Very please.
We popped into Ichiban on a Wednesday evening without too much expectation. The reviews are all about right - good food, decent service and as the pace filled up the atmosphere was good too. They were very accommodating of gluten free requests too. No complaints here - I’d visit again.
Excellent food and even more amazing service from this charming restaurant. Outdoor space too. They noticed that my friend bought me a card and a present and then came out singing happy birthday with a complimentary dessert. Absolutely wonderful and look forward to the next visit. Great outdoor space as well and gluten free options too. Thanks so much for taking care of us.
The food is really delicious.. full of different flavours and colours and textures. Its little bit expensive, but have sych a high food quality and so many options, including for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. I totally recommend it.

The food at Thai Square is amazing! There are veg and non-veg options. We went as a large family with some of us who are vegetarian and some who do eat meat. We were all very happy with what we ate and the food was delicious. The picture in this review is of a vegetarian platter which I shared with my wife.
The staff are very friendly, courteous and accommodating. They were also able to cater to a family member who has a gluten intolerance and were able to make the Drunken Noodles dish gluten friendly.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend a visit to Thai Square Windsor.
Had afternoon tea here. Honestly such a great service, the waitress was very kind and accommodated our requests. They had gluten free options and halal options too which was a nice surprise.

Am gluten free so had tres tacos on corn flour. They are ok. Had two vegetarian and one chicken. They don't allow rice or beans on the tacos. The vegan chipotle sauce is a bit spicy but good. I would recommend as a snack. My friend had the burrito 🌯 and she loved it. Other friend had the naked burrito and she also loved it. So yea light dinner I would recommend tortilla for.
I went there on Tuesday morning and a girl (I believe Magda was her name) helped me out regardless my gluten free intolerance. Also the place it's very bright and quiet. Food it's awesome!
Food was super, and both our lovely server Natalia and the manager were super attentive and very knowledgeable about what dishes were safe for me as a coeliac. Will definitely be coming back again!
Great place if you love authentic pizza with thin and crispy base. Also great for breakfasts too. Plenty of veggie options.
I ordered the Pinsa base (almost gluten free since made with rice flour and a little bit of wheat flour) and had the Pizza Armando Speciale topping (mozzarella, tomato, fresh chilli, anchovies, nduja and pepperoni) - it’s essentially a Diavola with anchovies and nduja sausage - and it was fantastic.
Family run business with friendly staff, sensibly priced and the best pizzas in Windsor. Would highly recommend. Give it a try!
My new favourite restaurant in Windsor. Kind of wine-bar Mediterranean tapas, rather than Spanish.. That said the food sounds simple but is superb: the taramasalata was home made and apparently excellent, we had some delicious Chirozo in a sweetish wine sauce and above all the most amazing polenta.
Indeed, possibly the best Polenta I have had - as gluten-free I get to 'experience' a lot of Polenta and it was light and fluffy, crisped up and drizzled with a little honey and salt.
Oh, and great service, too.
PS Recommend for the gluten-challenged. Most dishes are gluten free.
