Piazza D'Angelo is one of my favorite places to eat in Mill Valley. I have both celiac and a dairy allergy and not only are there multiple options for me, the waitstaff are fully knowledgable and kind about my limitations. And the food is delicious! Big cheers to this wonderful place. Thank you Piazza D'Angelo!
Plenty of gluten free options, I had a salad and it was really fresh and tasty. I love the fact that things are labeled and the stuff clearly knew about gluten free food. Recommended to fellow celiacs 🥳
Insanely good! Recommend the fish burritos. Try their carrot habañero hot sauce!! This is definitely better in person so don’t do takeout.
Not great for vegetarians but good for gluten free as their tacos are corn tortillas.
French fries were also super crunchy and yummy
Whenever a friend comes to visit, I recommend Avatar’s Punjabi Burritos! Great options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free (if you get a rice plate). The chutney is delicious too! I often go for a burrito with curried veggie & curried pumpkin but opted for a rice plate with curried veggie & smoked eggplant this time- new favorite! Beautiful presentation & balance of flavors. Saru, who runs this location, is also so friendly and welcoming! I plan to keep coming back here and recommending to friends.
Head’s up: you’ll need cash or venmo to pay. Also the restaurant is tiny so I usually order to go and take food on a hike/picnic. There are 2 tables inside and 1 outside.
Equator Coffees in Mill Valley is a charming, laid-back cafe nestled in the heart of downtown, offering a delightful coffee experience with local character. The flagship location boasts a unique ambiance crafted from reclaimed redwood and railroad ties, paying homage to the area’s rich history
Coffee Quality: Offers a range of specialty coffees, including their popular Habibi Latte and seasonal pour-over options
Menu Variety: Features gluten-free waffles, pastries, sandwiches, and both hot and cold beverages
Cozy indoor and outdoor seating with a local, welcoming vibe
Very nice local breakfast and lunch spot in the heart of downtown Mill Valley.
Gluten free French toast is available, and was excellent. Millionaire dollar bacon is amazing, sweet and spicy — must have.
Other options are limited if you have gluten issues — hash browns are not GF, and limits the options.
Otherwise, we enjoyed our meal.
Such excellent sushi!! We showed up with a party of 8 and they were so wonderful to seat us pretty quickly. The service was fast, excellently accommodating a gluten allergy too. We ordered tempura, a mix of rolls, and a few of us got the nigiri dinners. And I can't say enough how phenomenal the nigiri were. Huge pieces that had excellent quality fish. We will definitely be going back!!
Really fun place with big beer, cider, and wine selections. Surprisingly tasty pizza (they do a 2-3 day cold ferment on the dough, which develops massive flavor), and they offer myriad gluten-free and vegan options. Definitely get a side or two of the Calabrian chilies, such a good addition to your slice.
The most amazing chef and food I have ever had! A wonderful place especially if you have celiac or food allergies they are extremely sensitive to your needs. Our server was awesome and the atmosphere was perfect as well! This is a true hidden gem!
The chef came to my table and went over items I could have and assured me he would make sure my meal was gluten free and no cross contamination would occur!
A seasoned establishment with welcoming indoor and outdoor seating. A friendly staff, though they could benefit from learning the differences between vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. How only one person behind the counter knew what was vegan-friendly was surprising, and when we opted NOT to get the veggie burger since it wasn't vegan, the cashier said she could make it bun-less so it's gluten-free. A friendly hint to the cashier: Vegan <> gluten-free.
Ordered 2 large pepperoni sausage mushroom pizza for my crew at work
We loved it great sausage good flavor not to spicy
Going back tonight to try the gluten free crust keep up the great pizza 😋 and great service
I just moved from SF and my boyfriend surprised me and I am in love with this place. The menu is creative, healthy and gluten free option. Coffee is super strong and dark but not bitter, so it's perfect. I tend to get the avocado with toast and the eggs on the side. Service isn't the best but never rude so I'm ok with that.

Valentine's Day prefix menu was great. Got a late reservation and had the option of sitting in the main dining room or a booth in the bar. We opted for the booth and we were happy we did. The ambiance was fantastic. Lively atmosphere but not so loud that you couldn't carry a conversation. Service was sharp and prompt. Our waitress made a great selection of wine to pair with the vday ribeye special. Food was amazing. Great options for anyone that is gluten free as well.
My favorite spot in the Bay Area for brunch and coffee! owners are super nice, and go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience every time you walk in to their shop. In addition to the beautiful location, prices are convenient. They also offer healthy choices such as gluten free bread, and use quality ingredients. Highly recommend and will definitely be back !
