Gf buns available when asked. Separate plates to show an allergy. Separate person brings you your food. I also recently learned that it’s a separate fryer for gf fries. A couple of sauce do contain gluten but I have always been told by the wait staff ahead of time.
Service was great. They didn't seat us till all our party was there even though there was an open table. I love when I can sit and order drinks and maybe appetizer to ensure kid are entertained so its a nicer dinner. Gluten free is only done in kitchen. I understand for cross contamination. I wish they had an alternative that worked for gluten and non gluten free.
We got catering from Calabria for my son's baptism yesterday. Everyone thought the food was great! Since I am gluten free they were able to make me a gluten free chicken Parm and you couldn't even tell it was gluten free. When I had any questions before the event, I received an email back with an answer right away which is so appreciated! Not to mention they brought everything you could think of and more to set up the catering, we didn't need to buy anything additional, which was also so appreciated! Highly recommend for catering or eating here!
(Of note: I primarily write these reviews for my own business clients who are typically in or nearing retirement. I review establishments I visit that they might like, given the unique demographic of my client base.)
If you’re ever in the greater Worcester area, stop here for breakfast! I dropped in with my husband and mother-in-law on a weekday. There’s was plentiful parking and I noticed several handicap spaces available. Wasn’t too busy given it was a Monday morning. We were immediately greeted and we found the place to be bright, well decorated and clean.
There was so much choice on the menu. I was delighted to see that they could make gluten free French toast! Which was exactly what I had and it was delicious. My hubby had a platter with eggs and mixed breakfast meats, also looked great. I found the prices to be fair for the quality of the food.
I noted that the restrooms were not only clean but gender neutral. This is highly important! It’s welcoming to families with young or disabled individuals and also welcoming to the LGBTQ community.
Lastly, there was a variety of seating and easy to get around, which is helpful for seniors and anyone needing some additional accessibility.
Great place. We’ll visit again.
Kai Mook is the best Thai food around! Im so thankful they're here in Millbury. Especially thankful as someone with celiac disease that they provide gluten free options. Thank you all so much!!
