OMG GO! This place is amazing. We were a group of 6 for a business dinner. I’m gluten free and selected halibut. It was served with boiled potatoes. Immediately upon being seated they serve salad, bread and olives. All of our meals came piping hot and delicious and large portions. They even served churros with chocolate sauce. They offer a ton of desserts, multiple gluten free desserts too. The service is by far the best I’ve ever seen. They give you a warm towel after dinner. The outside seating would be delightful on a nice day. The wine bottle list is bigger than a bible…so many options. I really can’t think of anything negative to say. An exceptionally well run restaurant with authentic home cooked food with a wait staff that really cares.
A vibrant spot for unique tapas and creative dishes, perfect for gatherings or a cozy meal with a great selection of drinks.

Have been to Mompou twice and the food has been excellent. The service is friendly, and never rushed. Excellent choice for anyone who has celiac and needs gluten free options. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates, hanger steak, tuna, and paella.
Chill spot with a cozy vibe, great for studying or reading, plus delicious coffee and tempting treats.

I’ve been here twice to get a banana choc muffin (gluten free and delicious), a latte and an americano the next day. So good! I love the vibe of the space to and the books. Feel like a good place to study or read.
Cozy and off the beaten path, this spot offers a welcoming vibe with friendly locals and a popular bar perfect for a relaxed evening out.

Went with my wife and sister on a recommendation from a friend after picking my sister up at Newark airport. 14 minute drive from the terminal. Not located on the main drag. Parking was available off street around the corner. Walking to and from for a block and a half was safe and easy. The dining area in the front is not large. It feels like a cozy neighborhood place. Mario took great care of us. The Octopus and Clam appetizers were delicious, as were our entrees. Nice selection of wines. The locals at the tables nearby were very friendly and we shared a story or two of visiting Portugal. There is a bar area in the back which was pretty full on a Friday night. Accommodated my wife and sister's gluten allergies very well. Thanks Mario and Portucale for a lovely dinner!
Excellent food...try the paella! We shared one & still had some to take home. Friendly knowledgeable staff, warm ambiance, not noisy. Free parking across the street from the restaurant. Paella marinara is gluten free too.
