The staff offered great alterations when I mentioned I'm gluten intolerant. I ordered risotto and scroppino and they were both delicious! Very nice ambiance (in Dutch I would say 'hip en gezellig'). The multicultural staff (Italian, Croatian/Greek, Russian) seemed to really enjoy themselves as well. I definitely recommend a visit for dinner here!

I've been here about 10 times now and it's always a treat. Very friendly staff, always tasty food, tasty cocktails, good atmosphere. Many Vega and vegan options. Also gluten-free, making it easy to have a fantastic evening with a group with dietary requirements

One of the best dining experiences I've had in my 4 years of living in Amsterdam. The food was fresh & delicious, the service was outstanding, they were incredibly accommodating of food allergies (gluten), and the owner even came over to make sure we were having a great experience. 5 out of 5 stars...have recommended the Black Olive to several friends since!
