El barrio is one of Birminghams restaurants. You can expect to wait on friday and saturday evenings due to the high demand for delicious food at a reasonable price. The servers work harmoniously during busy times and have a streamlined process so that you have the best dining experience. They are gracious about accommodating dietary needs and restrictions which is so welcome due to the Birmingham food scene largely lacking that. The only things that could make them better is gluten free churros on the menu. Try the queso!

Love Wasabi Juans! My husband loves Mexican and I love sushi, so it's a perfect combination. The staff here are great. I have celiac disease and they are very accommodating with the gluten free options and very mindful. Definitely a must to visit Wasabi Juans!

In town with family and 2 of us are celiac. Minus the obvious flour tortillas and breaded fish, it's naturally gluten free!! Fresh ingredients, awesome portions and cannot forget the staff. Friendly and patient while helping our large group and explaining the extra steps they take to make sure things do not get cross contaminated.

Fine to eat in, great as takeout/leftovers. I have to eat gluten free, and they were happy to make me an enormous burrito bowl that was an excellent dinner, plus worked as leftovers in my hotel for the next couple days. They even included a giant bag of chips for me to take home!
