Funky place located in a basement. The Korean BBQ chicken is just awesome. My wife has Celiac and they were great about ensuring the food was GF. Service was a bit slow but definitely recommend this place.
Fantastic & friendly service, excellent tacos & sides (they’re tortillas are made from scratch everyday & all the meats are house made). The Birria is our favorite They have a variety of drinks (alcoholic & non) and are a gluten free kitchen. A must on the Homer Spit!
if there are a lot of people you definitley be waiting a minute but its worth it, brisket is soo flavorful and cooked well. They have gluten free options that wont leave you dissapointed. consistent and kind!
Highly recommend! The staff is so friendly and very kind. They went above and beyond to make sure my tacos were gluten free! I had the kale tacos and they were delicious, they are not stingy and actually stuff their tacos. The rice and beans were also SO delicious!
This place is growing on me again. The Combo Fajitas, Halibut Tacos and flan were great. They are very Ameri-Mex, but I’ll take it. As usual, they were very gluten free friendly for the wife.
Tacos were very good. Lots of different varieties to choose from, even gluten free and vegetarian. Chipotle sauce is a tiny bit spicy.... I said tiny heehee I just don't do spice. Prices aren't bad for the area. I would definitely go back again. It's a food truck kind of deal with outside, covered seating.
Great tacos! As someone who has to eat gluten and dairy free it was easy to eat great food here - I just ordered the tacos dairy free. They also have gluten free cider available. Very convenient location close to the St Elias hospital.
Beautiful views, plenty of gluten free and vegan / vegetarian options. Everything is super fresh and almost everything is made in house. It was delicious and I can't wait to come back. The hot sauces rock, I had the hottest and the hot and they were both super flavorful while still packing some serious fire. Plenty of outdoor seating. There is a Thai Truck next door that I will try soon!
First, the place was open when most others weren’t (no cruise ships in = most places not open). Second, the owner said everything was cooked from scratch, so we were confident that gluten intolerant requests could be accommodated. Best Mexican food we’ve had in a while. Homemade enchilada sauce was a welcome change from most other places. Truly authentic, family made. Seemed very popular with take out crowd, too. Owner was pleasant to talk with and very accommodating.
I just popped in after two years to see if they had gluten free options and half the menu is Gluten free! Staff was friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. I'll pop back after I've actually had the food ( we got it to go!)
I used to love Chepo's; that was before I tried Señor Taco, which was after Chepo's had their opening in their new building. I am never going back to Chepo's. Señor Taco is a thousand times better. Much more authentic & just gah! Delicious! I have to eat gluten free & they have great options that don't have gluten! Yay!!
Food is good. Expect a wait as it’s popular and they cook food right after each order then take the next order. Option for your protein to be blackened, locally caught fish if you’re wanting to eat seafood as you look out at the ocean. Otherwise they have pork and beef. We ordered the bowl, taco plate, and birria tacos. Gluten free and vegetarian options available. The owner was pretty rude to me, but the lady taking orders was great. I have celiac so I was trying to ask what the options were for their menu items marked gluten free. The lady doing my order was working with me in options when the cook (assuming the owner) flipped out and said I couldn’t eat from his truck. Ended up coming to a compromise if I’d eat the bowl without any items from the grill to avoid cross contamination risk. Would be nice for the future for the guy to recognize people will ask questions if he has his menu marked and recognize celiacs traveling are willing to compromise when there’s risk. Otherwise would recommend!
The food is wonderful and the service is excellent. The dining room is set up so that no-one needs to feel crowded while enjoying their meal. The one caveat would be to add a few gluten free options an instruct the dining room staff in these selections. Most eateries have no training in this growing area of concern.
This place accommodated a large group quite efficiently.
However, $18 for a BLT is quite too much. I figured it would be the best BLT in the world. The tomatoes were fresh and the bacon was cooked well. It needed more bacon though.
The lemon chicken soup was ok. It was very tasty—and gluten free is always a plus. Dairy free as well! But, it was mostly rice and liquid. There was next to no chicken. Could have used some carrots or some veggies to highlight i
The flavors better.
Great food, freshly made to order. Huge portions! From burgers to Tacos there's something for every taste (including gluten free)! A family owned business that treats every customer as family. Try their nachos, enough for 2 for a meal and oh so tasty!
