We loved Cupcakehuset! We visited off a cruise ship, having walked along the coast path, and had a lovely relaxing break with cups of tea and delicious cakes. I was able to get a lovely gluten free carrot cake, which was much appreciated. The café is beautiful with flowers everywhere and the staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks very much. 😊

This place is where we had the BEST food during our Norway trip. One family member is celiac and he was treated with safe gluten free dishes during the whole course. All ingredients are so fresh, each dish offers many different tastes in it. A must to experience! After all, we felt price was very good for the quality we enjoyed.

The pizza is good, especially considering it’s in Norway. The gluten-free option is actually really tasty and well-prepared.
The service felt indifferent — not rude, but not particularly welcoming or attentive either.
There’s no real atmosphere; the interior is plain and forgettable. Cleanliness was disappointing: crumbs on the seat, fingerprints on glass surfaces, and random stains on the backrests. The place could use a deep clean.
I suggest opting for takeaway instead of dining in.
This spot offers a pleasant atmosphere with beautiful, bougie decor and a stunning outdoor seating area overlooking the sea. The cozy yet upscale vibe makes it a notable choice, though gluten-free dining requires careful communication with staff.

Terrible service!
There is no willingness to eg. serve the gluten free sushi on a plate separate from the dishes with gluten.
Furthermore, the kitchen made a mistake, forgetting to add cucumber to the maki. I can forgive this. What I cannot accept, however, is that the waiter started to argue. I had to dissicate the sushi to show her that it didn’t contain the ingredients stated in the menu. After this the waiter didn’t want to serve me any more.
