Very tasty, gluten-free hamburger. Friendly, adequate service.
It was quite full and we had already mentioned when booking that we had a follow-up appointment. This was carefully taken into account.
A lot of people walk past our table because it is a narrow, long space.
A very extensive buffet for a good price, with a clear indication of what is gluten-free/lactose-free. Plenty of delicious dishes for a friendly price in an attractive setting

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, modern decor. Gluten-free warm bread with the soup and the fries are fantastic. Highly recommended, I will come back soon. Tip: make a reservation, which is very easy via the website. Staff also very friendly, our dog was immediately given a bowl of water, sweet!
The food is delicious. They make everything themselves and know exactly what can be gluten-free and lactose-free. It's wonderful that you can eat so carefree. Good service 🙏
Tasty food, nice portions and for the big eaters they have some dishes in king size. Staff friendly and well informed about allergies. We had someone with a gluten allergy and he also had a fantastic meal! The chairs they have are terrible, but they fit in with the style they have there. Service could be a bit smoother, but it was quite busy when we were there, so that's understandable.
Enjoyed lunch on the terrace. With dietary requirements (including gluten-free and dairy-free). Nice place in the middle of the village, friendly service and good food. Diet didn't seem to be a problem at all and that's a good thing.

We were looking for a gluten free option to have lunch at. We ended up here by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Kind staff and especially the (not gluten free) pulled chicken sandwich was very good and a lot more than you would expect. Also the terrace looks over the whole square, which is nice and full of oak trees.
Great food. Friend eats gluten-free and this was taken into account very well. The service was neat, nice and helped well with advice. In short, it was a very positive experience! Would like to eat there again. The cocktail was good by the way!!
Delicious (gluten-free) pizzas and top service. What a nice place to enjoy a delicious meal with children. Highly recommended. Especially the dessert to share 😋
We come here regularly and every time it is fantastic. The quality of the food is very good and something for everyone. With the expansion of the restaurant, there is also a play area for children, which is very pleasant for people with young children. This restaurant is really for everyone, even if you don't like pasta or pizza and for my father with a gluten allergy there was delicious penne.
The gluten-free version of the salmon sandwich was delicious, but unfortunately they don't take gluten-free food enough seriously. Unfortunately, I still ingested gluten, so there must have been cross-contamination. Too bad, but if you have a gluten intolerance, you cannot eat here safely.
We had a delicious meal. It was also very nice that the chef thought along with the options for gluten-free food, almost everything is possible. It was great

Found this nice and authentic restaurant because it has a gluten-free and vegetarian quiche on the menu. To my surprise, it turned out to be a very cozy and nice restaurant, full of local people who speak with all kinds of funny accents! A really great experience for tourists! In addition, the restaurant is ideal for people with celiac disease! They know exactly what gluten is and you can enjoy delicious food safely and without any problems!
Delicious dinner. The farmer's bouilabaisse was different than you are used to, but it tasted no less. Gluten intolerance is also taken into account. The lunch and dinner menu even states that all soups and sauces are gluten-free.
Had a delicious meal at Yume Assen. Ideal for a group consisting of a mix of diehard carnivores, vegetarians and people with an allergy to gluten. Something for everyone.
Beautiful dishes and delicious food. The chef is well informed about gluten-free food and there is always plenty of choice for people who need to eat gluten-free. Always a delicious gluten-free sandwich and there is a separate fryer so that fries are fried separately. Cozy restaurant and great service. I like coming here.
They say on the site that they have gluten-free products. This is not so! It doesn't look all that pleasant. Outside it is a kind of construction pit. We eventually drove to Assen north. There's a good Mac there!
If you suffer from allergies, it is better not to eat there. They made a fuss about the fact that I was gluten and lactose free. And then there isn't much on the menu that they are willing to make
During our stay in Roden we ate at the Foodcafé three times in a row. What a nice place. There is an extensive menu, many gluten-free options and excellent service from the staff. Niels helped us and we noticed that he does his work with passion and pleasure! We will definitely come back! Really recommended.
Even with someone with a gluten allergy you can enjoy a delicious meal! Please report it neatly and action will be taken immediately. Nice and cozy place in the middle of the woods!
It is sometimes quite difficult to find a place to eat if you have to eat gluten-free, but it is often also difficult if you only want meat and lots of vegetables and no potatoes. But that's no problem here! What a delicious meal we had! My husband a delicious schnitzel, and I my steak with lots of vegetables. And how tasty it all was, absolutely fantastic!
We will go here more often when we are in the area again.
Great pancake restaurant. Gluten-free options and gluten-free pancakes. I have had better gluten-free pancakes. The other pancakes were very good according to my table companions. A mistake was made with the drinks, this was neatly corrected although it took a while. Friendly people. Nice to sit inside and outside. Lots of parking space.
Had a great time here during and after a ride on the e-chopper. Nice, attentive and very smooth service. Unlike my predecessor in the reviews, 3 of us ate a tender steak and 1 man a thick hamburger and we were politely asked about the preparation. The menu is excellent, something for everyone. A cozy place to eat and drink without pretensions. Gluten intolerance was also taken into account. Very good! Will definitely come again.
We enjoyed a delicious 3 courses, the menu has plenty of choice and information is available for all possible allergies. Vegan or gluten-free food is no problem here. Beautiful products, veal succade was perfect!
Service is neat and what you would expect from young staff, a good experience.
The only comments I have are that the restaurant is a bit noisy and the toilets are very outdated (although very clean).
We had a nice evening all round. Definitely worth another visit.
Tonight we had dinner at restaurant Boszicht in Echten with a group of 9 people. And let's be honest: it was a tasteful sabotage of all our future restaurant visits.
The staff? So friendly that you almost want to trade your family members for this service. They took every food request into account, whether it was gluten, lactose or just someone with an intense fear of coriander. Everything was possible. Everything was allowed. Everything came with a smile.
And then the food… Man, oh man, oh man. As if our taste buds were given a spa day with a 3 Michelin star massage. We were feasting, swooning and quietly crying with happiness at the last bite.
Small side note: Boszicht ruined our expectations so much that we are considering only eating there from now on or learning to cook at that level ourselves (but then we first have to book a new kitchen, new hands and a cooking course in the French Alps).
Conclusion:
Boszicht is not a restaurant. It is a standard-destroying culinary walhalla.
Advice: don't go there if you want to enjoy other restaurants as well...
