Great venue with lovely relaxing atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. Not much good for me though as they advertise gluten free food, and indeed provided an extensive gluten free menu. However, they also stated at the bottom that they could not guarantee any food was 100% gluten free! So it's not gluten free is it? Why lie if you can't provide it, coeliacs can be seriously ill if they consume even the smallest amount of gluten. My partner enjoyed his meal, I had to make do with a drink.

Eaten here a few times, and had takeaway once. Food is always so tasty and fresh, with lots of different flavours and Persian spices. The food is presented really well too. Even takeaway is packaged and presented really well and tastes amazing. They're all vegetarian dishes (with option to be vegan) but all with the right balance of salt, sweet and umami. Some restaurants treat the vegetarian option as a meat dish and just take away the meat, but not here, you don't feel like anything is missing on the plate and it's full of flavour and you feel satisfyingly full afterwards. The menu changes by season and they have a specials board, so there's always something new to try. The service is always amazing, friendly smiley staff, they always ask about allergies (and can make most dishes vegan, nut free or gluten free), they can explain the dishes well if you ask and you're not waiting ages to order or to pay at the end. The dining area is small, cozy and uniquely Cafe Roya! Previously when I've been, they've had a bottle collection along the wall, this time the table was sort of on a landing upstairs, so the stairs were in the middle of the dining area, without being overly bright and not at all drafty or too warm. This gives the dining experience a special and unique atmosphere, which I really like and I can't wait to go again!

Amazing for gluten free, accommodating service for awkward customers makong changes to orders (I've had to do this when BBQ base wasn't an option but they did this for us over the phone) Arrived in store and its so clean, prepped, friendly staff who really do care and had put my faith back In to ordering take out. Ordering for delivery they arrived no hassle super friendly, I accidently left my pup in the garden which I should have got in knowing the delivery was en route but the delivery fella was amazing and kind and courteous. (Sorry dude you can't have my pup XD and sorry I didn't get ya name for the shout out) I don't order from anywhere else now if I do order out. And when I do its direct and not through just eat. You want great pizza and great service then get from this place even if you're passing through, place the order and collect. Happy eats!

Popped in today simply as where we planned to go was closed, but we will definitely be back , was seated immediately by friendly helpfull staff and asked about allergies,which as my son is coeliac impressed me Food was high quality,prices fair,staff attentive but not over bearing

Gluten free options of pasta and pizza. I had pollo pesto pizza gf and it was delicious. Good choice of gf puddings too. Staff attentive. As it's a small venue it gets very loud and I struggled to hear all our friends. I would definitely go back as we had a wonderful time overall.
