If I could give higher star ratings I would. I visited your fantastic restaurant Wednesday 27th November 2024 and I was absolutely delighted. The staff were amazingly friendly and extremely on the ball with food. I'm coeliac, so I can't have gluten, and they had an entire A4 page menu with several delicious choices of food. I literally couldn't stop smiling as soon as that was handed to me and I felt so understood and validated to be treated like any other person visiting who doesn't have medical dietary needs. It took a while to choose something as I was so spoilt for choice, I could've honestly cried happy tears if I wasn't laughing so much. Their home made lemonade is refreshing and I could have easily drunk tons of it. Portion sizes are generous and you definitely do not leave feeling hungry. The gelati was so smooth and flavoursome. Definitely going back again next time I visit Surrey as I live in Cornwall. Thank you so much Ask Italian team xxx

The food is really good, I loved it. Service was a bit poor as I was told to collect my pizza in 20 min time, went there and waited another 20 plus min. They have gluten free options as well.

Visited without booking at lunchtime. Chef extremely accommodating and helpful as one of our party of 4 is both vegetarian and gluten free. So three of us ordered from the menu and all starters, mains and additional sides were excellent. Chef cooked the vegetarian and gluten free starter and main course from scratch, off menu with full consultation. He could not have been more helpful and the meals were again excellent. We could have eaten anywhere (it was a surprise visit from family who had driven for 4 hours) but I am so glad we chose Amani. I had eaten here three times previously, as had my partner, with excellent food and service. Reviews are useful, but the best advice I can give is to go eat there yourself. The restaurant experience is often far far better than our current delivery based obsession. My partner is a trained chef (retired) and if he is happy with his food then all is good with the world. Thank you Amani for a wonderful birthday 🙏🏻
