I didn’t realise the importance of booking for a pre-theatre meal! Luckily Wildwood had a slot. Service was great and the tables were nicely spaced (we were in the back room near the kitchen). Almost the entire menu could be adapted to be gluten free. The butternut squash risotto was good. It’s just dropped a star for food because there was absolutely minimum sauce with the spaghetti bolognase, it really frustrates me when restaurants are not generous with something relatively cheap to make l, despite charging a relatively high price.

Excellent food in a lovely setting. We had starters, mains and my wife had dessert. My wife is coeliac and they took good care of her with several gluten free options. Extra points for offering Hooky on tap.

Lovely food and although they were 2 serving staff down, the service was amazing, the young waitress was supereb! She never stopped, all drinks, food , coffee and the bill served with a smile and efficiantly. Well done. PS gluten free menu is great!

Booked as they had extensive gluten free menu, which turned out to be excellent. Party of 9 we were given our own room. Excellent food, excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Called in as we were on a day trip and know that gluten free food is available. We were really warmly welcomed and the hostess was most accommodating. What made this different from every other Pizza Express we have visited is that we were given the allergens folder when advising that we needed gluten free food. Our drinks order and starters / mains were taken at the same time and drinks arrived promptly. Food was delivered in a very acceptable timeframe. Throughout we were asked if we were satisfied and then we were persuaded to have dessert too. Food was tasty, service was excellent. Probably rates as the best Pizza Express venue where we have eaten - and we visit others several times during the year.
