I'm an "alt meat"/ "food tech" foodie, so I had to visit to try the vegan lamb kebab. It was phenomenal! Best alt meat I've had since first trying the impossible burger years ago. The hummus was also exceptional and I was impressed that they served gluten free pita.
Get place to get gluten free pizza! I had the BBQ and mushroom truffle. Both where delicious they did run out of the Omisson (happens everywhere) but thankfully had Cider on tap! Wasn't busy mon-tues.
We went as a group and had wonderful service by our server. Can’t remember her name but she was super friendly and attentive.
Good pizza, wine, cocktails. They have gluten free options too. Ravioli was good!
Excellent tapas restaurant with several dishes each with unique flavors. Since I was with a group, I tasted dishes I wouldn't normally have ordered (curried cauliflower, banana leaf chicken & stuffed dates along with steak & shrimp staples. I don't think you could've ordered anything that wasn't tasty. Many gluten free options that those with allergies won't feel limited. Service was attentive & the only reason this got only 4 stars is bc I felt it was pretty pricey. Would definitely return with another group in order to taste more of the small plates!
The sausages here are particularly good and there is a decent selection of non-alcoholic drinks e.g. ginger beer. I also very much appreciate the gluten-free beer option. I tend to avoid Wednesday nights due to the noisy pub quizz.
All I can say is that we were a very large group and we enjoyed the food very much. The way the food was cooked with a hint of charred edges and a tender centre was so satisfying and mouthwatering at the same time. They accommodated all my Gluten Free requirements. The staff are not just nice but also so friendly that you will feel like buddies!
Good tapas in buzzy downtown Mountain View. Courteous host led us to our table and we were attended by sweet and relaxed waitstaff. Standard favorites for a tapas menu, we LOVED the wild mushroom dish with egg yolk and their house salad. We also thought the gambas were very fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable for this area and it would be totally doable to have a light dinner for two for $50. If you throw in drinks and a few additional heavier menu items probably closer to $90 but it would be a fun time and romantic. We like this place and we think it is among the best for tapas in the Bay Area. Lots of gluten free items and would be veg friendly for those looking for that. Definitely recommend and we ourselves will be back as well to try the bravas, the mussels, and the anchovies on the next visit. Thanks!
