This is such a cute little pub. It reminds us of the pubs in the UK. The food was delicious. I love all the gluten free options. The service was great, some of the friendliest we have experienced in recent years.

I love that they have gluten free buns my son had a gf grilled cheese. I'd say if your celiac be careful about that as they likely grill on same surface. He does have an eczema flair up right now might be due to cross contamination but I image if you get the bun un grilled it would be safer.

Hing's is authentic as it gets in the Portland area. The atmosphere is an older restaurant, which I really like, it's nostalgic for sure.
The food is fantastic, too much on the plate so you will need a to-go box. I had butterfly shrimp that are dipped in egg, not flour so they're gluten-free, with a thin strip of bacon inside and quick fried. DELICIOUS! plated with sauteed snow peas and onions in a light white sauce. Potstickers are large and handmade. No frozen potstickers from the Asian market freezer bag at Hing's, baby! The steamed rice is moist and separated, not overcooked and sticky
Service is great. Happy to see you, listen and answer questions happily. I never felt rushed or forgotten. Same every time I have been to Hing's including take-away service. Consistent, this wasn't a "good night", typical service.
Everything on the menu is fantastic, cooked correctly, not over oily, not over-sauced. Noodles al dente, just a little chewy, but soft.
Are ya hungry yet? Go to Hing's!Your mouth will be happy, and you'll be glad you did. Your date will be impressed you know this place.

This place is rad. The pizza is good. The wings are great (Highly recommend the sweet chili sauce wings) they have a gluten free crust option for their pizza and their bartender is amazing. She always remembers our faces and drinks. one of our favorite places to go for a quick bite or a couple drinks at the end of a week.
