Booked a table for 3 on 22/09/24 based off the recommendation from Atly. This trip to Melbourne had been amazing so far, but unfortunately despite letting the wait staff know I was GF, I had a reaction here. Was quite sad given the feedback from other users, and the food tasted really nice. Not sure what it was, but it was (barramundi, gf bread and olives, gf marg pizza), but something got me good
We loved our visit to Bekka! The food was incredible! We had the banquet with 5 of us in total. I am gluten free and they accommodated for that easily. An awesome experience will definitely return!
Great chips - best with had from a Grill'd in Melbourne yet. Typically they're slightly soggy when we get them, but their sweet potato chips were spot on crispy and a good temp. $18 each for decently made gluten -free burgers too. So much nicer than the burgers we had the other day from elsewhere! I'm not sure if I actually got given the vegan mayo I selected, but the service and atmosphere of the was as good as you could ask for. The team looked hard at work when we walked in to get our takeaway meal and our server double checked everything was as we ordered. Thank you 😊
Fantastic options for gluten free (catering for coeliac), dairy intolerance, vegan etc. a bug menu to choose from. Our server was lovely, very accommodating and chatty. Thank you
Wow!!!
Even though it’s was busy at 1230, the customer service was brilliant!
Met by a welcoming young waiter Sebastian, who was attentive throughout our lunch stay.
The chilli scrambled eggs were delicious and when I asked if it could be served on the house made hash browns instead of bread - no problems!!!
Great gluten free option!!!
Coffee was delicious and even though it was busy and loud, we asked to be seated down the back on the comfy bench seating, again - no problems.
I’ve been here before and usually have the calamari salad, but went for something different and was not disappointed!
Highly recommend and cannot thank Sebastian enough for his welcoming friendly and professional approach to customers.
Well worth the 40 minute drive!!!!
I don't usually leave reviews but I love this place 😍
Brother Hen- an absolute hidden Gem with a cute courtyard around the back. Always friendly customer service and the best food! I can never go past their prana tea leaf chai, coconut mocha and poke bowl.
They have a great breakfast range making it the perfect brunch spot for the locals. Also accommodating with allergies and have gluten free options available.
A special thanks to Michael and the team who went above and beyond with their customer service and care when I was unwell due to a medical condition. Absolutely blown away by your kindness and compassion to ensure my health and safety was put first. Thank you!
I always spoke highly of this place but tonight when I ordered Uber eats I was left extremely disappointed. I ordered a Diavola Pizza Gluten Free base and what came was very different to the photo of the dish on the app. Secondly for $29.50 there was hardly enough ingredients to justify paying that much money.... there was more base than ingredients. My husbands Pizza, the capricciosa was so full of toppings that it left me feeling very upset. The description said that there was Ndjua on the Pizza but there was hardly any on there! Honestly the most disappointing meal I have had in Melbourne. It's too bad that I cannot upload a photo with this review to show what was supposed to come and what I got instead.
One of the best cafes in Melbourne! The staff are all amazing and the food is to die for. They also have the best gluten free options which is amazing. 100% recommend Darling Street Espresso to everyone!
The food is delicious - even have gluten free pizzas. Great place to relax on the outside terrace overlooking the Maribyrnong River while sipping on an Aperol Spritz.
Pricing on the menu is a little ambiguous (particularly with respect to the GF pizza sizes) and the cocktails. The price you pay for the cocktails depends on what menu you pick up
Parking is atrociously difficult - half a km walk away (and we were there on a Tuesday lunch).
The nicest people and such delicious food. Caters for dietary requirements like vegan and gluten free really well. One of my favourite places for lunch!
Zeus does a gluten free pita so us coeliacs can enjoy a kebab! It's usually really good, but tonight's was a bit stale unfortunately. Hopefully just a one-off!
Delicious, quality burgers. I’m gluten free and I loved the bun. My family loved their burgers and hot dog. Crunchy chips. Great customer service and clean restaurant. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend you check this place out!
Love this place! Bartenders are lovely, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the pub trivia is the highlight of my week. My partner suggested adding more gluten free beers and they popped THREE new gf beers in the fridge - legends!
Booked the entire Tote restaurant for my birthday lunch party. The Manager, Mukesh, was fantastic help with organising the event and then making sure everything went smoothly on the day. The Onsite parking for guests was a great bonus. Everyone thought the food was fantastic (5 different canapes followed by sit down Salmon/Steak alternating Mains, with Vegetarian/Gluten free options available), and the Drinks package provided a good selection for them to order from bar. The Wait Staff were very professional and friendly, and circulated fingerfood/drink top-ups in a timely fashion. The playground adjacent to restaurant enabled guests with small children to attend the function and be able to supervise their kids while enjoying food and drinks. All in all, I highly recommend this venue for anyone wanting to host a special occasion party.
Best Mexican food I’ve had. Loved the enchiladas- beautiful blend of subtle flavours. Great portions. Food came quickly, staff were friendly and postive. The menu is vast with lots of vegan and gluten free options
A popular place with a great menu! Plenty of vegan, veggie, gluten & dairy free options plus all the usual brunch options. Something for everyone whether you're after a super tasty acai bowl or decadent wagyu burger and chips.
Wonderful time visiting both the venues. Visiting from inter state, we were well looked after by the staff. Gluten free and vegetarian options were good.
A hidden gem, not on the Main Street but behind. I found it through google searching Italian restaurants in the area and then looking for ones with gluten free options. The pizza was Devine. I’d never order a boring pepperoni pizza but theirs sounded so good and was everything I wanted and more. With honey, chili and quality cheese. The best gf pizza I’ve had in a long time. The rest of our group had pasta and all raved that theirs was the best. Kids pasta was a bit small as all 4 of them were still hungry after and we ordered a bowl of chips to top them up. Friendly service.
Really enjoyed our dinner at Penny Young. I have a gluten allergy and the menu was a bit confusing due to the use of "low gluten" options but after speaking with them I felt alot better. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for a celiac but for me it was okay. The fish I had was really tender , juicy and the skin was very crispy. The whole portion was a bit small but I still thought it was really tasty. The cocktail was good but a bit sweet for my taste but I still enjoyed it.
