The gluten-free items are clearly marked on the menu. As we were having lunch with a friend who is celiac, this made a huge difference. We all enjoyed the patio and our meal.
Their gluten free options are incredibly good - non-GF is too. Just delicious food, absolutely worth the price, and the staff are always so lovely and accommodating.
Ate here a few days ago at the insistence of my husband who raved about the grilled caesar salad. It did not disappoint. So my review is based on that item alone. Our server Jaimy was very friendly and knowledgable with regard to the menu (gluten allergy). In the end, we both had the salad with chicken. I've had grilled caesars before, but the one at Wildfire was the best. And the chicken was very tender. We will def be back.
Erik was an awesome server everything was efficient always came around at the right time made sure my pop was full also made sure my girlfriend was treating with gluten free items
My wife and I eat at the Keg quite often as she can eat gluten-free with very little concern. In most cases at the Keg any Keg, the manager will come to let us know that the kitchen is aware and they will take care of her with caution. The server didn't ask if we were celebrating anything. 38th wedding anniversary. This Keg is not up to standards of the Keg. In Durham, Ajax Keg is the spot. Oh, and beets as a vegetable what a joke.
The food came out exactly as I wanted, and they were very good respecting the fact I have celiac disease. Crystal also gave amazing service and was so kind!
My team scheduled lunch here because their site and menu suggested that they could accommodate for dietary restrictions. I let the server know I had celiac disease and couldn’t have wheat and ordered the only non-salad gluten-free entree they had, a rice pasta alfredo. My entree came with wheat bread on it. When I brought it to the server’s attention, she said she’d replace it… but brought the same dish with the bread removed. Eventually, it was properly replaced - I think! - but this resulted in eating ~20 minutes after my colleagues who all said they thought the meal should be comp’ed. It wasn’t; in fact, I was charged extra! The standard fettuccine dish is 17.49, same as the rice pasta one, and added chicken makes it 23.99. I was charged a full $7 for added chicken. My bill also denoted a standard fettuccine meal rather than a gluten-free one, which is now having me concerned that my inattentive server may have triggered my celiac symptoms (time will tell!). The food was only okay; the first plate of pasta had Parmesan while the second didn’t, and I was offered zero drink refills.
We were a group of 10 from out of town - service was outstanding, food was delicious and huge portions - Definitely recommend! Price was great especially with portion size 😊 Don’t hesitate to book - go and enjoy from a huge menu selection. with gluten free selections.
What a fun restaurant. Our server Abby was delightful. Great suggestions and very attentive. The gluten free menu is extensive and we found exactly what we wanted. Pad Thai. Super portions.
Been here a couple times as they're right around the corner from my house.
The OMG / gardilly sauce is amazing and I can never have enough. I always get a little extra on the side.
Today I tried the Feast Poutine which is basically Thanksgiving as a poutine. It was definitely flavorful; my only complaint was I could have had more curds.
The gravy is vegan and the fries are gluten free for anyone wanting to try them.
This is a CASH only establishment, for anyone who hasn't been here previously.
The food was delicious!! Plus they can accommodate those that are gluten free!! Only issue for us was it was way too cold, the manager was very good to turn it up for us.
I've been a few times now. Our normal dinner for 2 is to split the Pizza and add a meat stick for each of us. This is delicious dinner for 2 under $20 and rolling out the door full. I've also been for take-out and chose this location because meat sticks plus fantastic salads make a great choice for my low carb friend. And recently I planned a family birthday dinner here, including a baby and a gluten free diner. Everything was delicious, allergies were accommodated and a high chair was available. The only thing we could have improved was speed of service, but the birthday boy believes that having to wait is a good sign of fresh food and a full lobby means it's worth the wait. I can agree with both those statements. Well done.
