I highly recommend it, a nice place, welcoming and attentive staff, also suitable for those who have gluten intolerances like me. I ate a mixed appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses with delicious honey, some stratospheric pici with truffles and an excellent plum tart, value for money also more than fair. For sure, if I return to that fantastic village that is Montepulciano it will be one of my stops again. The people who were with me were also very satisfied.

During our stay in Montepulciano we decided to have a culinary experience, thanks to this restaurant it was possible. Exceptional welcome. The highly trained staff (even for specific dietary needs such as celiac disease); friendly and available for any clarification. The restaurant is well looked after. Well set tables. Each dish tells a story, it is an explosion of flavors and smells. As soon as we arrived at the table we were handed the menus, wine and water list. For gluten-free people they served us bagged bread and crackers. As an aperitif we were offered three samples of bread (with turmeric, focaccia and potatoes), as first courses we ordered the homemade pici with Chianina ragù, and two tagliatelle with noble wine from Montepulciano, with courgettes, bacon and ricotta salty. For the second course, a sliced Chianina (medium cooked) with a selection of salts (smoked, normal and charcoal), accompanied by a balsamic vinegar glaze and vegetable chlorophyll, very particular plating. Meat cooked to perfection. As a side dish, a portion of chickpeas with rosemary, as dessert the undergrowth, wine, coffee and rum. We were very happy with the love that the staff transmits. Experience to try.

Small restaurant at the top of the town, in the historic centre. Cozy place, excellent service. Average quality/price, shame about those pici that arrived too late after cooking and were therefore difficult to chew. Menu also for celiacs. Overall good place.

We stopped for lunch in this place after a tour of the center of Montepulciano and encouraged by the numerous positive reviews, and I must say that we chose very well and that the feedback was true. Very nice place both inside and outside, super attentive and kind staff and excellent dishes with very high quality raw materials (even for celiacs). And the wine they produce is a real must to try and enjoy. Prices are ultimately average but reflect the quality of the food served, therefore highly recommended.

A lovely place! They offer delicious food including gluten free pasta options. The menu selection is small, but all dishes are creative, of high quality and very well executed. Portion size is on the smaller side. We would come again!!
