I ate at Malandrino just today... actually I had been wanting to for a while but there had been no occasion. I was extremely satisfied. We had a delightful dining experience at Il Cocco Ristorante. As a celiac, I was thrilled to discover there was a guide that detailed every dish served. This guide listed every ingredient in every dish and what allergens were in it. What a relief!
The service was excellent, the food piping hot and delicious, and the ambiance just what I like--calm with the pleasant hum of people talking quietly. We arrived at 7:00, when they opened, and the restaurant was packed within 15 minutes. So glad we arrived when we did. We would go back in a minute to this restaurant if we were staying longer in Orvieto. We highly recommend it to diners!

We had lunch on the outside tables given the beautiful day, even though the inside of the place was really very nice.
Vegetarian burger for me, very very good. Gluten-free "M'annava cosa" for my boyfriend, this too was really good and with flavor combinations that were new to us. Quality ingredients.
