I arrived at noon and was greeted warmly. The menus , of which there is plenty to read , has some fabulous choice. You will find something for whatever culinary mood you are in. During the week there is a special reduced price menu , Mon to Thursday and light bite menus also. The whole of the dessert menu , bar 1 item was gluten free and this is a very rare thing. My main meal was able to be adjusted to what I asked for to make gluten free and it did not disappoint... Steak and cheese club style sandwich and side salad and fries... Outstanding . The dessert was the highlight .. the lady who produced the homemade sticky toffee pudding deserves a medal... That's the best gf pudding I have ever had since being diagnosed . .. so much so I kept questioning myself whether it was actually gluten free.... Amazing.. staff friendly and accommodating . Facilities are clean tidy and as expected with everything else being so good. Felt maybe coffees overpriced , for what it was , but suppliers costs etc have kept everything up . When your drink is nearly half the price of the meal , it's a tad on the expensive side. Disabled parking right near the entrance and accommodated suitable seating with no issues . Was not rushed to finish and can't find fault. See you again soon .

Excellent service. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially with allergy related questions. Daughter has coeliac and is very sensitive, we've never had any issues when eating at the bellflower. I'd definitely recommend.

Called in for breakfast on the way back from the Lakes. We love Planks Kitchen its got atmosphere, awesome food, lovely staff and good parking. We love it as it was excellent vegan options and todays vegan breakfast and avocado on sourdough was no exception, flipping delicious. We had a beets and immunity juice and two Americanos and they were fantastic too. There was a great selection of vegan cakes (some gluten free) too. Love Planks Kitchen and its easy to make an excuse to make a return visit. No wonder its always busy so its advisable to book.

Fantastic. Delicious salad, custom made for my complicated dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy free, onion free). Very accommodating and reassuring. Said it was no bother at all.

A chill pub vibe with decent options, but some reviews suggest a need for better presentation and more exciting menu choices.

Great pub, staff might need to be a little more friendly, rather than just referencing to just look online attitude for allergens menu, just a shame there isn’t much choice for gluten free people. Not the staffs fault, but the chain should look into accommodating for dietary requirements better. I think the presentation of food could have been better, just looked to be thrown on a plate or dish as that how a burger arrived, specially when it’s not busy. Menu states that the burgers are show stopping but they only thing they are stopping is a return visit.

My wife and I just this evening dined here for our 13th wedding anniversary, and what a treat it was! The staff were friendly and attentive, and our server had a good grasp of dietary restrictions and how they affected the menu options. The chef set my mind at ease regarding a particular menu choice and offered a quality substitution, and there were a few vegan and gluten-free options for dessert which surprised and delighted us. This attention to us as customers really made our evening. One of the owners did several rounds of the place checking on people and engaging in conversation with the regulars - clearly a labour of love for him.
