Great food and service. The pie of the day was spot on (just ask for a bit more gravy) and the waitresses were really helpful. Mum was looking for gluten free stuff too and there was a great selection.

Great coffee, great sweet treats and GREAT GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS (and vegan). I'm obsessed with their Manchester tart blondies made with almond flour and always grab an extra one or two for later. They seperate their coeliac safe cakes (normally a carrot cake) from those in the cabinet which are safe for gluten free but not safe from cross contamination due to sharing a cabinet with gluten goods. Always ask own of the lovely staff if your eunsure on your options. They have the most accessible and cleanest toilet I've ever found at a coffee store. Plenty of space for if you're in a wheelchair or using a walker along with a changing table if you have a little one.

Had coffee and a gluten free breakfast, the gluten free menu was fantastic with very knowledgeable and friendly staff, another plus with being a dog owner is the cafe is dog friendly too, we will definitely be returning and will recommend this place to family and friends 👍

Have just been to the Spread Eagle for Sunday lunch, absolutely fabulous experience, the staff are so friendly & welcoming 😊 I was diagnosed as celiac 12 months ago & have to follow a strict gluten free diet, they have a gluten free menu as well as gluten free beers!! I opted for the carvery & was treated so well (you do feel like an inconvenience at times when eating out), nothing was too much trouble for the chefs, they made my own roast potatoes & cauliflower cheese, the chef took great care & consideration when carving my meat (used a different carving board & utensils). My meal was absolutely delicious but more importantly for me, I wasn’t made to feel like a pain!! My fellow diners also thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Will definitely be returning!!

Pub style food and they have a lot of gluten free options! They'd run out of gf buns for burgers but I had the loaded fries instead with gf battered prawns. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Dog friendly.

This place is an absolute gem! The staff are lovely and the food is fresh and delicious on each visit. They also very helpful and accommodating with my gluten-free partner. Our dog loves it here also!

Whilst visiting family in Stockport we had a meal here. Their menu range was ok. With only a few options for vegan and gluten free. Service was a little slow and the waitress just looked disinterested when we wanted to order through her. We were a family with a few allergies and found the app confusing to navigate so for ease just ordered through the waitress. It took a while for the food, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full and when it finally came out there was one meal missing. Hurmph!!!

Food was both innovative and of high quality. Slightly lower rating for service reflects the long delay for a gluten free dish, which it transpired had been delivered to the wrong table. But this was balanced by effusive apologies and an unrequested major reduction in the price of our lunch. We shall most certainly return.
