Unfortunately we don’t live in Lake Zurich, or close enough, as we would definitely go back to this place! Food was great. Service was also great. Lots of craft beers and food options were just right. Loved that they have gluten-free choices too, especially a dedicated fryer for the fries, which were delicious! Definitely recommend!
We try to do "date night Saturday" because our lives can get hectic and we forget to spend time with one another. That being said, I chose the heated patio as I thought it would be a nice ambiance for us. When we sat down, it was LOUD! I mean, loud to the point we could barely hear one another. Once some of the larger parties left, it got better, but that was half way through the meal. Our waitress, Nikki, was FANTASTIC! She understood my need to avoid cross contamination (Celiac disease) and made sure to ask the kitchen if it was safe every step of the way. My boyfriend got the NY Strip - which came out extremely dry and he needed to return it and ask for a burger. What a shame for a steakhouse. I got the sampler, and the steak(s) were overcooked for sure (asked for medium rare and they were almost well done). The lamb was good but the best thing I ate was the pork chop and sweet potato! It's a shame that the steak at a steakhouse was so underwhelming and inedible. We will not be back, as the cost does not warrant what we had... But if you can ask for a waitress, ask for Nikki!!!
In Italy we only know the fast food outlets of large companies such as McDonald's, Burger King, KFC... Discovering Culver's was a pleasant surprise; the sandwich we got had a full and tasty flavor, it wasn't the usual air-inflated chemical sandwich, and the onion rings weren't brutally battered and greasy. Everything was delicious and my daughter even got to have the gluten free burger! The environment is very familiar and reminds me of American TV series 😊 The girl who served us was also very kind and who, in the two times we showed up, always gave everyone smiles.
One of the best places I’ve been to in a while.
Great BBQ, affordable bar and one of the best staff experiences I’ve had. Kim was great and made the day special.
Some fantastic BBQ with multiple in house flavor options. Great sides and tons of gluten free options. Great outdoor space and the inside has tons of windows and TVs!
Totally worth the stop and I will be coming back!

Great food! I had a steak that was really flavorful. My family has seafood and they were very happy! Grace was our server and very knowledgeable as we needed gluten free options.
Coffee is little better than average. I’ve tried various drinks on the menu. Still doesn’t compare to other coffee places like conscious cup. Food is good but takes little long to get a sandwich (10-12 min). My favorite almond croissant is ALWAYS sold out sadly. For some reason the rocket sandwich always gives me horrible stomach pain, I’ll start asking if they have a gluten free or dairy free version of the sandwich, maybe the bread they use is higher in gluten, or maybe something is triggering my lactose issue, not sure. I never had issues anywhere else that I couldn’t tolerate. Either way, it beats Starbucks anyday so I’m happy they exist!
We need more upscale restaurants like this in the area. It has it all: upbeat ambiance, unique, delicious dishes, attention to detail. Would give it more stars if possible especially if they had gluten free / dairy free bread available to go with some of the apps. Bravo overall!!
Just stopped in for my 1st time and I’m highly impressed. So happy we have a healthy specialty drink/food option here. I have celiac, so today I tried their gluten free waffle and donut. They were good! And I also got a Speciality tea. Will definitely be bringing my kids back.
Also, added bonus, the owners were so incredibly nice. Very patient with all my questions.
