Sam and Maggie's is hands down our favorite restaurant. We love the incredible foods and flavors that are brought into the menu each week. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. We usually come for date night, but we have also brought our kids and they really like it here as well. There is a great selection of gluten free items on the menu and the staff has been knowledgeable whenever we've asked questions pertaining our allergies and the menu items that week. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Pasadena. There is nothing else quite like it in the surrounding area...5 stars does not do it justice.

I have a gluten allergy and they do offer their pasta with gluten free Barilla noodles. I wanted the spaghetti and meatballs but the meatballs have wheat in them. I had the shrimp shampi with gf noodles and it was just over cooked shrimp with noodles in a broth. Not a scampi at all. The staff was nice but I wish being gf didn't mean not being able to eat something well made. It was mushy and gross.

We had an awesome first experience at Mike’s. Our server, Rahz(? Sorry I couldn’t hear super well), was super helpful and helped figured out some of the gluten free options for my wife. We got the seafood sampler. The crab cakes were very delicious and so was everything else. We are definitely coming back!
