GF (Celiac Disease):
They have GF rolls for an extra charge. I have tried the chicken parm (GF) in the past and its not that great. I only get a chicken caesar salad now. I do not like the thick cheese they use on the salad but it is what it is. The salad is a bit small for the price though.
When there is no other place around or in a rush, its a good place to stop for lunch.
Such a fun spot, can sit outside & people watch! Amazingly good food...I have celiac disease and they make they're own coating so I was able to eat the FRIED Fisherman's Platter!!! OMG sooooo delicious! Now a favorite spot to go!!!
What an amazing experience I had with my family tonight! On a busy Saturday night we were seated right away! The servers wonderful getting us drinks and answered all our questions as we had two in our party that had gluten and dairy restrictions. We had no issues waiting for our dinner as we knew it was a busy busy Saturday night in a scratch kitchen where everything is made specifically which can take a bit longer, but our servers offered us delicious desserts to share on the house for our patience. As for our dinner and apps, they were well worth the wait. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL, especially our server. I can’t say enough about how great an experience I had tonight with my family. Will absolutely be coming here again, and again, and again!
I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and they always take extra care to change their gloves and utensils! Happy to have found pizza that I can eat and it tastes amazing!
Hands down some of the best service and understanding when it comes to food allergies. Amazing drinks and dinner with the amazing bar staff tonight. Thank you for accommodating my Celiac Disease and Mushroom allergy.
Great unique drinks, saw lots of martinis being served at the bar. They had 4 beers on tap and a nice selection of canned beers. Stoneface DDH, mmm.
We tried the lettuce wraps, Kobe sliders, and flatbread BLT which all delicious. Nice atmosphere and wait staff was perfect.
Gluten Free items were clearly marked and staff was knowledgeable about the subject. They told us chefs would change gloves so they were careful about cross contamination. Will visit again!
My favorite part of Five Guys is the fries! I also love that you have gluten free options. Today however I was very disappointed with my fries. They were old, over done, dry and barely warm. I think I will drive the extra miles to the Webster Square location from now on their fries are always dropped to order and I don't mind waiting an extra few minutes for hot delicious fries.
I ordered take out and when I arrived it was about 1/2 full. It was clean and bright inside I went to the host desk and she said she would check on my order. It was supposed to be ready when I arrived. I had to wait almost 15 minutes longer than the pick up time I was given, so I watch TV until my food came out. I ordered the Chubby Chicken without the hidden sauce and fries. The sandwich was absolutely delicious… I mean fantastic!! I will definitely be back with my hubby because they have lots of gluten free options!! Next time I’ll save room for donuts!!! PS the pictures are not great and I crushed the bun a bit trying to take it out of the to go box!
Wonderful local cafe. Owner and staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming and knowledgeable. I have had both the BLAT and Turkey club on gluten free bread and they were delicious! Hands down the best strawberry lemonade too (made fresh with real strawberries). The pastries looked delicious (store smells like banana bread you get at Grandma's house ❤️), but the only gluten free one is macroons. The owner is awesome too- you can text and they will set a macroon (or whatever you want) aside for you so you can snag one before they run out (and they are huge and so yummy).
Here's the deal, you walk in and there are plenty of employees, but they will tell you they can't take your order, only online. The website will then say it's having difficulty, so you ask again in store and they help you by telling you to use the app. Customers walk in and get turned away, one after the other as you sign up for an account in the app. Then you order your food, but be careful, there is no place to mark any allergies. Be creative when naming your order for pickup, something like GLUTEN FREE GRAHAM OR DIE , ANYTHING to grab their attention. Then after you have succesfully ordered your food in the app, you can watch them make it without interacting with you at all. If they disregard the allergy, ask them to remake it as you watch, like an ordinary customer interaction you sought for to begin with.
Edit: the name trick doesn't work. It disregarded my chosen pickup name and used the name from registering my chipotle account, exactly what I need. Awful
As a Vegan who also has a gluten sensitivity it's difficult to find places you can eat as well as trust. I feel Frontera is one of these places. Although there isn't a ton on the menu for me I hope they will add some vegan options in the near future and the lack of options is why I gave 4 stars but for most this should be a 5 star experience. I highly recommend getting their made to order right at your table guacamole it's amazing!
We had a great time experiencing Puerto Rican food.. as we walked in, we immediately loved the atmosphere.. fun lighting, music with just enough energy and not too loud.. server was great checking on us just enough.. the food was tasty, fresh, and an interesting mix of flavors.. we had the Empanadas-lovely that they are gluten-free, Albondigas -gluten free meatballs, and the Platano Dulce-plaintain with pork and feta cheese.. and a House Salad.. finishing off with Flan ..we will be back to try more..
My husband and mother in law just got back from eating at the red arrow diner in nashua nh.
We had a wonderful experience our waiter was very attentive to what we needed I had ordered my burger without a bun because of my gluten allergy, when my burger came to the table I told him it had to go back because it did have the bun. I started to explain why and he someone in his family had the same issue and fixed it right away and was like Im so sorry. He then told me i might want to skip the fries because of my celiac disease i cant even take the chance of cross contamination. I have really never experienced that at a restaurant. He took the time to make sure all our meals we good.
He made sure that our coffee and drinks were always filled.
I also would like to thank the kitchen for fixing my burger to. We will definitely go there again.
Our server name was Merton
We had a large group (11)
They had a whole crew of new people (owners daughter had a birthday)
They got one order right & mixed up the 2nd. So why does this place get 5 stars you’re asking??
Well the owner was on call & came in to save the new workers, yes on his daughters birthday, he made sure we were taken care of in every way he could think of!!! Now that’s a smart owner, we chatted for awhile about his business which he purchased 5 years ago, totally renovated the place, & you could tell he really had a lot of pride in the business.
Now for the food,, we ordered a gluten free pizza, 2 large pizzas, spaghetti, a sub & a calzone. My wife & I shared the calzone & a beer. We thought it was a very good dinner, even after the mix up & wait & will be going back again, because the food is good, but mainly because the owner made sure we were taken care of he made a repeat customer.
We had our company
Christmas party here and had a great time. The food was great and Kendra was super accommodating for our gluten free and vegetarian guests. The tables were set up with linens and candles and they even left up the Christmas decorations for us even though our party was Jan 1st. Would definitely recommend this place for smaller to mid sized private events!
Heather was a great, the drinks were fun, and food was good - charcuterie board could be a little easier to share but everything on it was good and they have gluten free options!
