where do I start? đ
the service is chefs kiss đ- Iâve always had amazing servers who try to make our experience special.
â¨I could write a love song about
the wedge salad. I get it every time.
â¨I dream about the thunderbird pizza. (also, all the pizzas can come gluten free! big win) Itâs slightly spicy and sweet.
â¨I wish I could swim in the espresso martini.. I think it's the best one in Memphis. they have a revolving drink menu and I've never tried one I didn't like.
my only complaint is it's a little loud in the center of the room so it's hard to hear if you're sitting at a large table.
Had the cauliflower and salad. My husband had the enchilada bowl. The staff seemed knowledgeable about celiac and the food was excellent. Glad to have this app to find celiac safe restaurants when traveling.
Location was clean and the staff was very pleasant! We were first time customers and they took their time to explain the menu. Everyone had a smile on their face and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. The food was fresh and flavorful and prepared quickly. They also had a gluten free crust option and dairy free cheese available. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
My husband and I went to PF Changâs for a date tonight - one of our old favorites from when we were dating. We were there for a late 8:30 pm dinner and the restaurant was fairly empty, but that did not diminish our service! Josh was our server, as well as the bartender. He was so personable and thoughtful, making sure everything I ordered was gluten free and catching when I mistakenly ordered something that wasnât. He kept our drinks refilled and our needs met, while also keeping an eye on the bar. Instead of just handing us a dessert menu, he sold us on the gluten free dessert, chocolate soufflĂŠ, which was delicious! We also really appreciated the manager coming by to check on us. Thanks PF Changs and Josh for a great night!
I ate here for the first time and was really impressed by the staff and the owner. Everyone was super friendly and kind. The food was amazing, it was nice being able to eat some fried foods as they have gluten free options which most resturants don't offer. The atmosphere was very laid back and peaceful. Definitely will eat here again and enjoyed it immensely.. Highly recommend this establishment!!
The menu is spectacular and the food is every bit as deliciously described. We loved the way the menu wasnât a fixture and we could construct our own meals. Our gluten free requirements were happily accorded with. Staff from the meet and greet onwards were outstanding, particularly Avery who took care of everything with decorum and humour looking after us and our little girl who summed it up when Avery asked Harper âWhat was the best for you tonight?â She said âYouâ!
We are so excited that we moved close by! They have gluten free options for all sandwiches, though not all menu items. However, they don't have gluten free kitchens. They have great service, am amazing salad bar, and free soft-serve!
This pizza looks strange but the taste was 8 out of 10. I think đ¤ if I've never had this type of crust. It reminds me of something that is Gluten-free. Love the smell and flavor but can't get past the crust.
Always great, fresh wholesome food. Salad bar is top notch, all my favorites with hummus, sprouts, edamame, and balsamic vinaigrette. Lots of gluten free options if you need them.
They have a Gluten Free specific menu which was super helpful for my girlfriend. The bartender went out of his way to make sure everything could be prepared for her the way she needed.
Even when they are busy, they do their best to take care of you. The order is always fresh. The portions are good for the price. The atmosphere is easygoing. They are one of my favorite burger places.
Having celiac disease really sucks because most burger places do not make accommodations or offer only lettuce wraps. Their gluten-free burger bun is a good, tasty alternative for those who have to have it or those who just prefer it.
Lots of coffee options, delicious! This place has a lot of character from plants to books to the company there. There are gluten free pastry options. I had a piece of blueberry bread! It was alright, not the best Iâve had but definitely a fun treat. They also have lunch options.
Great breakfast spot! The pancakes are huge, and the breakfast potatoes are some of the best I've ever had. Today, I had the loaded grits, and they were sooooo good. Vegan and gluten-free items are marked on the menu, too.
Food was amazing. They had an allergen menu so I was able to find exactly what id be able to eat. Their site also mentions a dedicated fryer for their French fries so they won't be contaminated by gluten. I ordered the Greek salad. The smoked chicken flavor was so good and it was so tender. My toddler was acting crazy while we were there so I didn't get pictured of the food and I also don't know our servers name however he was so friendly and helpful.
A little overpriced in our opinion, but delicious steak! The second one that is.
We ordered a medium rare steak and were served a medium well, BUT, the staff made SURE we were happy and raced out an absolutely wonderful filet mignon- free of charge.
One big plus side, was that they offered a gluten-free/vegetarian menu for dietary restrictions.
We enjoyed ourselves and were satisfied in the end.
The food was decent but they ignored my request to keep part of my order gluten free. I ordered a few of their GF feasts and they verified that they would be GF over the phone, but when I picked up the food, there were pita chips in all the orders.
We went for Motherâs Day and took our kiddos! They have kid friendly drinks and amazing drinks with alcohol. Service was amazing and food came out super fast. My wife is Gluten free and the menu was labeled with GF choices. Atmosphere was family friendly and date night acceptable.
The food was amazing! Delicious Gluten Free and cauliflower pizza. Good service and would definitely return. Sadly if you want extra dressing for your salad, or a veggie added to your salad like onions; it does come with an up charge.
Babalu East Memphis is not as loud as a Babalu Midtown, but it's still a little loud for a lot of conversation. However, the food is so good (and there are a lot of choices for us celiacs) that I go anyway, when I get a chance. I had a great glass of red sangria (made on site) and my companion had a yummy looking drink, but I forgot what it was. The service was good, and I especially enjoyed the new server who made the guacamole table side. Can't wait to go back!
I recently discovered that I have Celiac disease, which made me worried about the foods I would have to give up, like pancakes. But then, I found out that Another Broken Egg Cafe offers gluten-free pancakes on its menu, along with a variety of other gluten-friendly options. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the pancakes, and since they are prepared to order, I could customize them to my liking. Moreover, our server, Chris, provided excellent service that exceeded our expectations. I'm looking forward to returning!
The food was delicious! Cute atmosphere. They were able to accommodate my gluten free mod to the salmon Benedict. đ The hot chai was ok but not exceptional.
Excellent peppermint mochas! They have celiac safe, gluten free baked goods, which was a very pleasant surprise. The gluten free baked goods were packaged and made locally in a dedicated gluten free facility. Absolutely delicious!!
Great experience. Our lunch started with a complimentary bowl of popcorn that the severs bring to each table. It was a welcomed snack as we surveyed the menu.
We started off the the GENERAL TSO'S CAULIFLOWER, which was the highlight of the meal. I eat gluten-free, so I finally got to enjoy an appetizer! The hubs said, "We could feed this this to the kids and they would never know it wasn't chicken." It was fantastic and we polished off every piece.
I had the ENCHILADA CHICKEN BOWL (gf). The shredded chicken was tender and complimented by the seasoned rice, black beans, guac and lettuce. I didn't finish it all, but I did make a dent in the Gen. Tso's cauliflower earlier.
The hubs ordered the SOB BURGER with CANDIED BACON. He ate every bite, so I'm assuming that was two thumbs up. The fries were a medium thickness and came out hot!.
The atmosphere was soothing and aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed looking into the open kitchen while we talked between courses. We will be returning to SOB East!
If you found my review helpful, tap the heart & let see know. Thanks!
Our first time in Memphis and we lived this place. We were greeted immediately by the staff, given a thorough rundown of the menu items with recommendations. We chose the Texas trio - ribs, brisket, and sausage. All 3 were outstanding. The mac and cheese was different, but really good. The Texas twinkie was a solid classic, and the cole slaw was cole slaw.
If we ever make it back to Memphis, we'll be back to Bains.
We had a gluten free member with us and she had zero issues.
Awesome ramen! Super flavorful broth, gluten free noodle option, and vegetarian friendly. Build your own bowl during the week at lunchtime. Probably the best ramen Iâve ever had. Highly recommend!!!
Great experience. Menu items were not your standard run of the mill options. But server was great at answering questions and confirming which items were, or could be modified to be, gluten-free or vegetarian. And I got to sit in the Priscilla chair! Would definitely recommend or return when I'm in the area.
Another great dinner at Napa. I was treated as a belated birthday present, but I felt like I also did my friend a good turn by introducing her to the restaurant. She really enjoyed it and said she never had better crabcakes. She also loved the bread which, of course, I couldn't have. I wish some restaurant in Memphis would take a page from the French laundry and find somebody that can make them some good gluten-free bread. Good service, good time.
Really great meal with a group of eight, including two children. They even had a gluten free menu for the Celiac in our group, and everyone loved their food!
I loved my Grilled Veggie Plate. I asked for no cheese & no sauce to be gluten free and vegan. The cashier knew what gluten free and vegan were. He told me the sides I could get to make sure there was no dairy or gluten in it.
