used to really like this place but lately, half of the time I place an online order they cancel it immediately saying something in my order is out of stock... my order is a little hat combo. a burger, fries and a drink. why are you open if you don't have your restaurants namesake? doesn't make much sense to me. you shouldn't offer online ordering if you are just going to cancel it immediately.
their online ordering in the favor app is also broken. if you add a gluten free bun to your combo, it adds the surcharge to the drink, fries and the burger. it's cheaper to order everything separately which defeats the purpose of a combo.

The Peached Tortilla is the sister restaurant of Bar Peached. They serve a variety of Asian-inspired dishes.
Dan Dan Noodles ($17.25) + 45-Minute Egg ($2): Five-spice pork, chili peanut sauce, cucumbers (spicy). The flavors weren’t as strong as I’d like and felt muted. I was expecting a rich, nutty, and spicy profile, but it didn’t shine through. They also used thick flat noodles instead of thin ones, which didn’t soak up the flavor well. I barely noticed the ground pork until halfway through. However, the dish does grow on you as you eat.
Lush Pork Belly Bowl ($18.40) + Extra Chinese BBQ Sauce ($0.50): Five-spice pork belly, house kimchi, pickled daikon carrots, 45-minute egg, jasmine rice. Pretty disappointing. They served three large blocks of pork belly, but they were dry and didn’t fully absorb the five-spice flavor. You definitely need to dip them in the Chinese BBQ sauce. The egg was delicious but didn’t taste much different from a poached egg.
Peach Sichuan Brussels ($11.50): Sichuan peppercorn peach glaze, fried shallots, sesame (vegan). This was my favorite of the four dishes. The Brussels sprouts were a bit soggy when they arrived, but they were perfect after I air-fried them. The peach Sichuan flavor was well-balanced and not overpowering.
Umami Chicken Wings ($12.65): Fish sauce vinaigrette, herbs, shallots (gluten-free). The chicken wings didn’t absorb the fish sauce vinaigrette, so they lacked umami. I’m also not a fan of eating whole chicken wings since their shape makes them a bit difficult to eat.
Super fun spot to go out for a girls night out or date night! Had some gluten free options, but a little tricky and required modifications to get gluten and dairy free. We had super knowledgeable staff that was able to accommodate. The brussel sprouts were incredible!
This place is fire! 🔥 Shorties has the best gluten free crust/pizza I have ever had! Whenever I inquired about it from the manager, I was told they have a local bakery/manufacturer make their gluten free crust as well as their bread. Every time I come to Austin, I make sure the visit! This place is a real gem and the staff are always friendly!
I also love the atmosphere of the rooftop/patio! If you want fresh, quality ingredients and superb service…shorties is your place
Came here with my family for dinner. The restaurant was not busy at all but we were told we had to order via the kiosk. Kiosk is not great if you need to modify anything at all. As we were halfway through ordering, another family came in and they were helped immediately by a person taking their order. They ended up finishing their order before we did. This was a minor annoyance.
My daugther has celiac disease and we ordered her the gluten free garlic bread with the tomato soup. She's had this many times before with no issues at this and other locations. When our order came the kitchen seemed really out of sorts and they missed many things on our order, including the gluten free bread. When they gave me the bread, I ask multiple times if they were sure this was the gluten free bread and the worker confirmed that it was every time. We ate and left, then my daughter starting vomiting about 1 1/2 hours after we got home. Really disappointed that the worker either wasn't taught about very common food allergies or didn't care enough to remake an item. I'm leaning toward to prior here as he seemed like he was trying to do right, this is on management I feel.
