Fantastic! Staff were so friendly and helpful, we had 3 coeliacs in our group and it was no problem for the chef to cater their meals to suit. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and everyone left with full bellies. Definitely would eat here again.

Sunday night my husband and I and a few of his mates from the cricket team went in for dinner as we had just arrived from Sydney, the tall lady behind the counter at the restaurant was so helpful, one of my husbands friends is Coeliac and when he mentioned this to the girl, she was so understanding and made sure that everyone in the kitchen was aware in order to prevent cross contamination, she was also just extremely polite and accommodating, so we went back again last night (Monday) and my husband told the rest of the team and they mentioned it to the other teams and I saw most of them there last night. The two guys at the bar were lovely and the same girl behind the counter at the bistro was again fantastic- they were so busy in the kitchen and she kept a smile on her face the whole time! The woman and men who were cooking in the kitchen did a fantastic job to keep up with all the orders and even though there was a sign about an extended wait time and the lady at the counter let us know, we really didn’t wait that long. Hats off to all staff at the Commercial Sunday and Monday night, we will be back every night we are in town and most definitely when we come back through here. The Commercial has certainly had a facelift and personnel improvement since the last time we were here (a few years ago).

A fantastic little cafe for a cuppa and a snack! They mostly do takeaways, but have a few tables and chairs, plus plenty of stools to sit while you wait. I especially loved that they actually have the complete ingredients lists on their allergy friendly foods, not just general gluten free or dairy free indications. It made it so much easier to choose something I could safely eat. They were also very knowledgeable about the ingredients of the breads and products they use to make their meals! The staff were very friendly and so helpful!

An 8 hour drive to Dubbo for a zoo visit and decided this looked good. Loved the vibe and bar service. Went to order dinner and needed to check Gluten Free Options. Asked about the risotto and the hostess went to find out. After a visit to the pantry I was advised the stock had glucose so the risotto wasn't GF. We worked through that issue and I was asked if I'd like to have the Garlick PaddleBread swapped out for the foccacia which was GF so my partner could have some. The server bought the entree to the table while I was away and when my partner asked if it was GF the server replied yes When we werr 3/4 of the way through the entrees kitchen staff came and told us it wasn't GF So now my partner faces a day of stomach cramps and gas while we look at the zoo but it could.have been so much worse. Of she was coeliac who knows how it wpuld have ended up There is no excuse for food providers not having a clear understanding of food allergies Mains weren't bad My partner enjoyed the risotto I had the Greek board. Just a note the skewers have one piece of lamb on each and the Greek salad is drowned in some white dressing
