What a great meeting place, a Cafe with great food variety including a large selection of Gluten Free on the menu. I did find the prices a bit on the rich side, they do have some valued goods, I will return as The band wagon certainly has ambience.

Gluten free options!! Dedicated gf fryer for a few options like chips (which were perfect) and others like calamari etc. There are gf burger options too, I went with the soft sheel crab burger. Buttermilk crab fried whole on a gf bun with salad and thousand island. Really tasty, not too salty, perfect mix of meaty and crunch. Thanks guys for doing gluten free options and being coeliac friendly and aware.

Just wonderful!! We stopped in for lunch and to pick up some sweet treats to take home. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The kids had a great time, especially when their drinks came with jelly snakes wrapped around the straws!
We loved the stuffed mushrooms and the salt and pepper squid with mango salad. The squid was very lightly battered and perfectly cooked, so delicious!
The Cafe is clearly a favourite in the neighbourhood, it has a lovely atmosphere! It felt like we were popping in on old friends.
The lemon tart was divine, so creamy and tangy! The gluten free brownie and cupcake were a huge hit too.
Thanks for making our last stop in Port Mac a memorable one, Bittersweet!

Excellent food, great gluten free bread (one of the best I’ve tasted being gluten free for approx 10 years). Good milkshakes, great ambience and friendly staff. Towards the pricey end in our opinion ($16 for bacon, eggs and sourdough, and smoothies at $8.50) but worthwhile considering food was excellent quality and eggs were free range (and very tasty!). Would return with no hesitation

What a pleasant surprise this little cafe was.
Forced to stay in Port Macquarie a little longer than expected due to flooding we found Roam just around the corner from our unit.
I ordered the veggie burger and my partner ordered the bacon and egg roll. Both were delish and substantial . There was a slight mix up over a hash brown and it's gluten free status , and we were given a vegan gluten free cake as a " make good" ( not that we expected anything ) . The tumeric lattes were tasty and warm.
We will definitely return .

This is genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’m also gluten free, and very surprisingly most of the food on the menu was gluten free, including desserts! But don’t be fooled, this food is just as amazing for people without dietary requirements. I would legitimately come back to port Macquarie just for this restaurant. The service was also excellent. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and food. My being a coeliac I had the GF stake sandwich. The steak was great everything was fresh but the gluten free bread was it hard as a rock understandably it's hard to get gluten-free bread right all the time but it shouldn't be toasted until it sounds like a rock on the plate everybody else's meals look amazing and everyone enjoy themselves.

I will not bag them but my wife got ill eating the "gluten free" icecream, yep she is a bad coeliac. Probably a cross contamination issue or staff not aware that for many gluten free is not a dietry choice, but rather a health need. Im sure most will have no issues, so I just hope they become that little more aware about the needs of coeliacs. Other wise friendly and helpful.

We went during the winter. The atmosphere would be much better with warmer weather. Still, five stars. The spaghetti was just like Mom used to make. The brownie was gluten free but still quite moist and tasty. The calamari was lightly breaded, not too many carbs, and super tender. Not microwaved and rubbery like at some other places. Great food and good recommendations from our waitress.
