Four of us came for lunch. I am Coeliac, so need gluten free food. The greeter who took us to our table was very friendly and welcoming. The waitress was attentive and pleasant. Our drinks and food order came out to us in good time, as did the desserts. We received the bill promptly when we asked for it, and had a throughly relaxed and enjoyable lunch. As a Coeliac I am always a little wary because of the risk of cross contamination, but I have never had an issue at the Bandon Arms.

We had a party at the leisure centre today and needed to feed 30 11 year olds! We ordered 11 pizzas and 3 chips they were delicious and cooked great! Still piping hot when we got them to the venues and the kids devoured the lot! They even catered perfectly for our gluten free friend which included gluten free pizza and gluten free chips! After a very busy morning in Bridgemorth Shropshire, we left the hustle bustle of the highstreet to visit a lovely cafe close to the fenhicular railway, Hightown. Castle tea rooms is a lovely comfortable and hospitable cafe, lovely staff, and a very nice lunch which was beautiful and fresh. Extremely good proportions too. Gluten Free options and dog friendly . Interesting place in the high street with a quirky offer of pizza, sushi and Mediterranean food. Loved the graphic logos and styling of the restaurant which was unique.
The menu had so much for everyone, but in some ways it was too extensive and difficult to choose and the font was hard to read.
Service was great from one server, but not very friendly from another who only smiled once the whole time and didn't engage other than "how was the food" style generic remarks.
The food was good, nicely presented and good portions. Recommend the spicy mushroom starter and they did a great job of gluten free bread.
Some aspects of the food didn't match too well, like the black pudding that came with coleslaw which one of us had.
The chef made good use of herbs in all meals. We appreciated this aspect.
The meal deal was well worth it, but there was a lack of customer service in a way. Appletizer £4.25, but the children got a drink as part of their meal deal and this wasn't mentioned so we spent an extra £8.50 for them and we were never given or offered the drinks that actually came as part of the deal.
Overall it was an interesting place and food was pretty good. I'd do again, but it could be even better, hence 4 stars.
