I went here with two friends, for lunch. We were visiting the town and it was our first visit to Strawberry Grove. We were very pleased with our lunch, especially as 2 of us required glutenfree options, which were available. The indoor decor is very attractive and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again.

No nonsense pub/bar, decent selection of beers and reasonably priced modern pub food. Steak wasn't cooked how I asked it to be but was still very tasty and they said sorry with a free beer so can't knock them! Good for gluten free with plenty of options at good prices (see GF menu attached) straightforward modern pub fare

We went to the Britannia for an early dinner/late lunch meal today. We have been here a few times now and had positive experiences. They have really changed but for the better. They have a new menu now.The food was delicious for starters I had the halloumi and crackling which was delicious, beautifully presented and a great portion size. For mains I was going to have the chicken and ribs combo but sadly they ran out of ribs.So had the chicken mixed grill instead. It was absoloutley delicious, the chicken was amazing really nice and tender,on the leg, thighs and skewer. The chips were really delicious too, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken skewer was delicious and full of flavour. The slaw was fresh too and tasty.Kate our waitress was friendly and Service was great. The gluten free menu is so good, has such an amazing range.
