We had a fabulous meal here, we were served by Caitlin, she was incredible, one of our party is gluten free and she even brought out a member of the kitchen to check our order. She was so friendly, couldn't help enough. The food was delicious! And cost was brilliant. Honestly Caitlin is a star! X

Just had a superb Sunday roast at The Butchers Arms. The pub was busy but the service was amazing. Very attentive and helpful. The roasts were fab with loads of fresh veg, great meat and plenty of Yorkshire puddings. My wife had a gluten allergy and was catered for perfectly with a gluten free roast. Thanks to all the staff for a great meal.

Food was nice, the service was swift and could accommodate a gluten intolerance, but the online allergy checker wasn't the easiest to use, portions could have been a bit bigger, would happily go back for a light lunch

We dined here last night for the first time, despite living here for 20 years, and entertained my mother based on her previous excellent experience. We were not disappointed. Waiting staff made us feel very welcome, as if we were regulars, and the banter was a joy. Plus we are huge fans of all things 'Pie'. They have an excellent range of pies, mash and side dishes to be able to put together a proper hearty meal. And, joy of joys, 3 gluten free versions too! Beer and wine etc... accompanied our food, plus a couple of desserts and it came in at just over £20/head. The tip was well earned!
