Today, I treated my colleague to lunch at the Village Corner in Carmel, a charming restaurant nestled just around the corner. As soon as we stepped onto the patio adorned with vibrant flowers, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation and joy.
The tall gentleman warmly welcomed us, setting the tone for our delightful experience. Throughout our meal, our waiter's kindness and professionalism were evident as he checked on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the restaurant serves breakfast during lunch hours. I decided to indulge in the eggs Benedict and the gluten-free pancake, both of which left a lasting impression with their unforgettable flavors.
Overall, the Village Corner surpassed our expectations with its excellent service and delectable food. It's truly an exceptional dining destination that I highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable culinary experience.
WE LOVE BASIL! Great staff, quality food, good portions, and amazing experience. Excellent gluten free pasta. We have been twice this week. Their reviews on here do not reflect how good the restaurant is. 5 stars. Highly recommend. THANK YOU BASIL
Great service and amazing food - every dish was uniformly of high quality! Loved the steaks!
Especially love how gluten-friendly the menu is with clear descriptions of the dishes.
Restaurant The Pocket in Carmel, California, is a beautiful place as an option to eat in Carmel! It also has the option to eat outside which is very nice and comfortable. They have heating outside if it's cold. They can prepare dishes to be suitable for celiac or gluten free, such as pasta! I recommend for others, the gnocchi and the salad with Shrimps! They are really big and very fresh! The dishes range between 18 and 60 dollars (the meat) I recommend!
