Loved the pizza here as it’s thin style. I had one of my own creation and my fiancé had a gluten free with prosciutto, pear, and brie. Delicious. Gotta try different pizzas next time. Was great.
Great BBQ spot with an impressive gluten-free menu!
My family really enjoyed this place—we went specifically because of their standout gluten-free options, which many restaurants don’t offer. It made both me and my daughter feel confident and comfortable ordering, and the selection was much better than expected. Everyone in our group was happy with their meal, gluten-free or not. We’d definitely go back next time we’re in Traverse City!
So MANY Gluten Free options and waitress was so knowledgeable about keeping it GF and told kitchen about my Celiac and they followed all protocols. We will definitely be back
We love the pie company. I love their cherry coffee. This time when we visited we had pie and cherry coffee. All of it was very good. We do wish they had a bigger selection of gluten-free items, but we understand that it is unlimited customer base. We will go there again when we're in traverse City.
We are gluten-free, so we decided to try this place. Food was flavorful and they gave you a good amount. I really enjoyed the rice bowl, and the other two ppl enjoyed their tacos. The reason I am giving a 3 stars...we decided to order 2 pitchers of margaritas. We should have asked how much. We were sticker shocked to find out we got charged $92. If they weren't filled to the top with ice (also with so much ice, what a pain to pour)....and we got more than 4 drinks per pitcher, we may not have had an issue.
We had a mixed experience at Crêpes & Co. The restaurant was not very clean — the floors needed sweeping, carpets were dirty, and the overall presentation lacked care. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t make much of an effort to be friendly, which took away from what could have been a fun visit.
That said, the food itself was better than expected and had some strong highlights:
• Salmon Crêpe ($16.99): Filled with house-made dill cream, cold smoked salmon, capers, and lemon. It was tangy, creamy, and delicious — the best of the three we tried.
• Complete Crêpe (GF) ($12.99): A great gluten-free option with ham, egg, and Swiss cheese. It had a perfect blend of savory flavors and worked well for breakfast or lunch.
• Lemon Sugar Crêpe ($6.75): Tart and sweet, with lemon juice, zest, and powdered sugar. A simple but tasty way to end the meal — also offered gluten-free.
We also tried the Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk, which was creamy and subtly sweet without being too earthy — a refreshing surprise.
Crêpes & Co. has potential, especially for those with gluten-free needs, but the dining environment and staff interactions really need improvement. If the service and cleanliness matched the creativity of the menu, this place could be a gem.
My wife had gotten the chicken there before but was just told the last time that it can have cross contact. (She has to eat gluten free) everything else was great! Our the order was messed up, but then was made right.
Don't forget you can get ice cream to accompany whatever pie you like. Sooo worth it!!! Of course the pies are absolutely delicious! Lesser-known is that they have a lot of gluten-free options and their sandwiches and soups are also very good.
This place is AMAZING! The ingredients, the instant care and caution about my celiac allergy and the vibe! The main girl Liberty was SO sweet when I forgot to mention gf granola and made me a new bowl while gifting me the other one for free to give to a friend. This place is chill and open. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone, but especially if you have celiac! My girlfriend and I will be coming back weekly! Thank you guys!
BEWARE! They show a gluten free menu…this menu says gluten free fish and chips. They LIE! What you will receive is grilled walleye with mashed potatoes and kale coleslaw. All of which tastes good but is entirely misleading from description of gluten free fried fish. I will say said meal was tasty but entirely misleading. So what else are they misleading about?? That is the question and the problem that will have me NEVER trusting this place with my health.Do not risk it gluten free community
I love this location! Having celiac doesn’t allow me to eat out most places but I have never had an issue at this location. They always go in the back and get new utensils, clean the grill, and change gloves. They are very friendly and always complete our order quickly and with accuracy.
This place is amazing! The breakfast and pastries are definitely worth trying. I didn't even realize that my donut was gluten-free, it was so delicious. The coffee was also very well made, and the service was great. The small details, like turning the handle of the coffee cup when setting it down, show that the staff is highly trained and hospitable. Well done!
All locally sourced items, from loose leaf teas, to lotions, to Elderberry jams and tinctures. I highly recommend the gluten free lemon and elderberry bars! They are fantastic! This little place is interesting and worth checking out!

Delicious food and friendly service! We needed a place with Gluten free vegetarian options and found The Dish in a pinch. The Buddha bowl and greek fries hit the spot. The chicken quesadilla was tasty and filling, it's huge.
This restaurant should train its employees if they are going to list themselves as having gluten free options. They have one item only, an English muffin and when I ordered eggs Benedict I got a regular muffin. Instead of asking if I wanted the order remade since the muffin came in contact with my food they just brought out the gf muffin and comped it. Thankfully I avoid gluten and did not have a reaction but someone with celiacs could have gotten sick.
I ordered a gluten free pizza...it was fantastic...person taking order very patient and delivery person very prompt...it was truly the best sauce...will splurge again...
The recently opened pop-up space is definitely charming & well done. It is exciting to see some newly inspired design added to the excitement of Front Street in TC. The selection of pastries was abundant - seems like something for everyone here as I walked out with four items just for myself (even multiple gluten free options!) I was excited to be sipping coffee from Panther who I have also had and enjoyed at Mission Proper in Old Mission (locations in TC and Miami?!) I am excited to see where this pop-up goes.
Outstanding "All You Can Eat" Cod dinner, 3 pieces to start, two more to follow...big eaters will be in Heaven w/ this $16.99 Friday Night Special. Wife had a Personal sized pizza, made to perfection. Enjoy a NA beer once in a while, only one they serve is Bud's Busch NA...skip it, no taste at all, horrible beverage. (George...go w/ O'Doul's or Sharp's, at least those have some taste to them). Highlight of the entire evening was our spectacular server, Linda. She made us feel welcome and like we were her only customer (she's kept George outta trouble going on 34 years...amazing person). Son w/ gluten allergy found out we were at Peegeos & promptly asked for an order of GF, char broiled wings to-go...Best in Northern Michigan.
Little Fleet where the pizza truck is permanently located is always our first stop when coming to traverse city for the weekend before we moved up here. I absolutely love their chicken pesto pizza on cauliflower crust. Literally I would dream about it, it’s that good! Now I live in Bellaire and work in Traverse City, and it’s still my FAVORITE gluten free pizza in northern Michigan. Today I had the Kale, Brussels sprouts, with cranberries and goat cheese salad and it was absolutely delicious 😋. They have a new Italian Grinder, it’s not gluten free but it’s probably the best grinder I have ever had too. The food is fresh; they use farm to table local ingredients, and I am telling you if you’re a foodie then this is your place for a quick bite in Traverse City. Thank you for having a consistent product that doesn’t make me inflamed when I eat it friends. I will be back!
I absolutely love Oakwood! Not only is the food absolutely BANGIN’ - the staff is always kind and welcoming, always answering any questions you have, and then there is the owners! The owners are the sweetest people I’ve ever met! They care deeply about their crew and their customers! Anytime I’m there I’m always recognized and greeted. They openly voice appreciation for me being a regular and they don’t need to because their food speaks for itself. You want an above and beyond experience… this is THE SPOT! Please show them some love and enjoy some good food! (also CELIAC safe fries!!)
Loved my visit here- will be back lots! As a gluten free person I was bummed when the former restaurant in this space closed because they had so many gluten free options. But Chubby Unicorn easily did one of their delicious signature sandwiches gluten free. The bread was so good that I almost sent it back convinced it wasn’t gluten free. Cute vibes, super friendly team working. And the outdoor patio is just the cutest!
Great breakfast and coffee spot!! The Golden milk latte is amazing. I’m gluten free and can’t do cilantro and they made me a burrito bowl with the cilantro crema on the side. The bowl was a really generous portion and so good!
