I have been searching high and low for the best gluten free pizza on Staten Island and I think I’ve found it here! The crust is not floppy, it’s crispy and delicious. I will be ordering my gluten free pizzas from here from now on.
Nice place to eat dinner, staffs are friendly. Our hostess was very attentive, didn't have 2 wait 2 long for our food I ordered a grilled chicken Ceasar salad which was a nice portion, it was very good, the grilled chicken was very tender and seasoned properly , I ate the whole thing. Also the bread was really good, I'm guessing it's fresh baked . They take cash or credit. The raspberry iced tea is good too and my kids enjoyed their chicken plater meals. Nice relaxing place, would go again to try a different dish. Thanks for the free blooming onion, quite not what I expected, it tasted really good! Cheers!!
TO THE LADY WHO WAS ASKING ABOUT THE GLUTEN FREE ....YES THEY HAVE A WHOLE MENU , PLEASE BE SURE TO ASK YOUR SERVER.
I WANTED TO MAKE SURE I HAVE CORRECT INFO BEFORE ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION, AND THEN I COULDN'T FIND YOUR QUESTION. SORRY!
Greek Xpress Hylan Boulevard is our favorite go to!! My daughter has severe celiac disease and eats worry free from their gluten free menu options due to their cross contamination safety precautions and dedicated separate fryers. We have been customers for a year now, so this has been proven time and time again, consistently having a positive experience. Portions are plentiful, well seasoned and just overall delicious! The owner and staff members are very friendly and welcoming. Grace is a superstar and knows my daughter’s order by heart! It’s a very happy day for my family when it’s Greek Xpress day!
THIS IS NO LONGER PROJECT BRUNCH!! It’s now called Flores Brunch. It is not similar to project brunch at all. We came for the gluten free cinnamon bun pancakes and they don’t have that option. Only gluten free bread. If we knew that project brunch no longer existed we wouldn’t have driven across the island to eat sub par food that I could have made better at home. I normally do not leave reviews but this really annoyed me that it still states that Project Brunch is open at this location when it is an entirely new place. The waitress laughed in my friends face for ordering an “iced dirty chai latte” and said “I’m going to have a hard time explaining that one to the people in the back” meanwhile it was on their menu. My breakfast burrito came out with literally just eggs and bacon in it and my friend’s scrambled eggs looked like a filet of fish, it was inedible. Will not return - we only stayed because we drove so far out to go to Project Brunch. At least, my cinnamon latte and home fries were good.
Review for those with any allergy to gluten: I’ve been given flour tortilla with my tacos instead of the 100% gluten free corn tortillas I asked for twice! The second time I just returned them, but the first time I trusted that I got what I asked for. Be very careful.
Placed take-out order for Beef Noodle Soup(pho). Delicious!
I’m celiac so I need gluten-free & this hit the spot. My wife and son had the spring rolls and said they were terrific.
Gluten free options galore! From pizza to garlic bread to burgers, I had plenty of options here. The gluten free pizza/ garlic bread crust was like no other that I have tasted- not the cookie cutter style which you could tell just came out of the freezer. This one was thin crust like a flatbread pizza. Plus the blue cheese and vodka sauce were all home made.
Also, we got to meet the owner and he was incredibly hospitable and appreciative of our business. Will definitely be coming back.
Food was amazing, staff was almost overly attentive. Drinks were perfect and we had a really nice no frills Father's Day lunch. Loved that they had tamari just make sure you ask for gluten free soy sauce.
My family & I absolutely love Casa Nino’s Pizza Bar! Everything from the food, service and ambiance is great! The buffalo slice is amazing and I appreciate that they have several gluten free options that are also delicious.
