The food was really good. There are several gluten-free menu items to choose from. I had gf pancakes that were smothered in bananas, a caramel sauce (i think), and nuts. Plus, a side. I would certainly go back, although I wish they had other hot coffee (espresso drink) options. My family enjoyed the food, and the folks that work there were friendly and professional. If we were.lical we would go frequently.
Take out gluten free margherita pizza added prosciutto. Sauce was tasty, cheese was good, but the pizza could’ve been more crispy underneath. Pretty good pizza would eat again.
GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS ALERT
This is a great Jersey Mike's location. They have great customer service and are in a nice location. The staff and environment is clean and orderly. They also give discounts to teams!!!
Wow, this place is an absolute gem. The food is fabulous and they have a really impressive wine list. FANTASTIC service. Like beyond service- more like experiencing din & drinks from a close friend. Great selection of beer/NA options too.
They’re super gluten free/celiac friendly as the owner and a manager both have celiac. I felt so safe here! Allergy folks, come enjoy! And the food was sooo good. The flatbread is delicious, but the meatballs were our favorite! We loved the Brussels sprouts too. The menu is just really well designed. I can’t wait to come back and try more.
The vibe is so fun. They had live music and everyone was just enjoying themselves. I can’t wait to come back. This place does everything right! They have tons of live events too. What a beautiful spot.
Every time I go here the staff is exceptional. I am gluten-free and they are extra careful to make sure I don’t get sick. Special shout out to Camry, she’s amazing,
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!
I’m gluten-intolerant, which limits my ability to eat at most sub restaurants. Jersey Mike’s is usually a fairly safe option because they offer gluten-free bread and implement standard glove-change policies and whatnot for customers that specify they have an allergy. The employees at this location are NOT doing this properly. Today I went in and asked for a gluten-free sub, specified it was an allergy and was literally speechless watching the employee make my sandwich on top of a PILE of breadcrumbs from previous customers. He changed his gloves, laid a piece of clean paper on top of a counter full of crumbs. They usually clean the counters off, but he did not. He then added the meat and cheese, and reached under the paper with his clean gloves to touch all up on the pile of breadcrumbs before scooping the sandwich up. He moved it to another section of the station and went into the veggies with those same breadcrumb fingers to put on my sub. The cherry on top was when he used the communal mayo spatula that has touched every other piece of normal bread to put mayo on my sandwich. I am so grateful that I’m not someone with celiac disease, because that kind of negligence on allergen protocol could land someone with celiac in the hospital. Just pure laziness at work here.
Great, easy drinking craft beer with a local seltzer in case anyone in your group prefers that instead. The pizza is great! (They have a gluten free crust, just ask!!)
The green space is awesome and fenced in from the public sidewalk which is nice for letting kids run and play while waiting for food. Gas fire pits with large adirondacks for hanging out in the sun. It's great!
Update:
This place just keeps getting better! They've added wings and more personality in the taproom. We're here all the time!
I stop in here any chance I get when visiting Charlotte or Rock Hill. I love Sonny’s BBQ! My children like the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches. Sometimes pork has some hard pieces and the pulled chicken is a little softer so my daughter prefers it. They also have delicious ribs. The mac n cheese is more like a homemade creamy cheese, but not like the kind baked in a casserole dish and definitely not kraft. The baked beans have a sweet, smoky flavor. And the sweet tea is truly sweet tea. I may not sleep tonight. 😁
I enjoyed the “pick 2 meats” and got pulled pork and sliced pork with the baked beans and fries.
I took a picture of the allergy sheet. I have a dairy allergy and a gluten sensitivity. This isn’t probably safe if you are celiac. I had plenty of options that were dairy free. I took a pic of the allergy facts for those with food allergies.
The dining room has a cafeteria feel. Plus, a bar with counter seating.
There is a kids menu that comes with crayons to entertain the children.
The servers are welcoming and our waitress took good care of us!
