Conifer is something special and not like anything else in the area. The ambience is chill and welcoming. I really enjoy being able to see the chefs do their thing while you dine with the open kitchen area. The food was flavorful, rich and fresh. It seems they pick their menu mostly based on what’s most in season and you can tell. Cocktails were complex and not too sweet. Desserts were well balanced with little pops of savory/salty. All while being completely gluten free! I’m excited to go back!

The atmosphere is something to be admired. The server was attentive! We started off with the fiery hot wings. They were cooked near perfection! My daughter and I had a gluten free pizza with pineapple. The crust was very unique! It was quite tasty! My husband had a Philly steak burger with fries. He said the fries were so good! He did mention that the burger could have used some mayo, but other than that, he thoroughly enjoyed it!

I have been here twice in the last few months, both times for an adult birthday party. The pizza is great and they offered a good gluten free pizza for my wife. There is something for everyone at Gusano's. They have a billiard table and I played a couple games with my son.
