Love mellow mushroom every time I'm there I get a photo with their character each store has a different one. Mission to get as many photos with their different characters as I can. My girlfriend has food allergy to gluten they fix gluten pizza there so we frequent mellow mushroom whenever we're in a town that has them. Always a great atmosphere service and food.

First off, their pizza taste really nice. The service is weird because they ask you for very high tips. The main issue with Donatos is that they claim gluten free options but they do nothing about cross contamination. I ordered 2 gluten free pizzas that ended up being very clearly cross contaminated with gluten. This is dangerous advertising of them if they aren’t going to honor it.

Gluten free pizza was so good. Crispy, thin crust...however I always get a garlic butter base. Shaved Ribeye, banana peppers and extra chz tasted alot like italian beef sandwhich. Not sure how it would be otherwise. My kiddo got a Hawiian regular, we took left overs and finished it off at the drive in in Jesup 2nd feature.
They did have some sandwhich and wings for GF.
Its isnt celiac safe. They dont have dedicated fryers and such.
I would go back.

Imagine ordering and waiting an INSANE amount of time for the food to come (not even a crazy order, should not have taken even half that time) and the ONLY request to be leave croutons out of the Caesar salad because someone was celiac. So after all of that time, it still comes with the croutons. Called to let them know and they didn’t offer to do anything to make their mistake better! Honestly I probably dodged a bullet because half the pizza came without sauce and looked disgusting so the salad probably wouldn’t have been better but thanks to their lack of understanding I guess I’ll never know

This was our first time ordering from Donato’s based upon recommendations from our neighbors. We ordered from t the online menu which was a big clunky especially for adding or subtracting options. But it was easy to set the time of delivery and make payment. Promptly at the appointed delivery time, I received notification that the pizzas were delivered at the door. However, when stepping outside to get them there were no pizzas. I called the delivery driver and explained the issue, and he responded to say that someone wrote the wrote house number on the delivery tag. He returned about 15 minutes later with our pizzas. Although the boxes were luke warm, the pizzas themselves were much less than warm after opening the box. We were very pleased with the flavors of the pizzas, and not being vegan or gluten-free eaters, we noticed a chewiness about the crust of the vegan pizza.
Overall the pizzas were very good, and would be a very likely choice for our pizzeria food choice, but we will not choose delivery until the kinks are pressed out of that system.

Most the time they are pretty good about it…they offer Califlower crust which is nice. However you have to forcefully request them to change their gloves and usually have to give them a long explanation…you also have to be pretty stern when asking them to put it into an oven that doesn’t share same plate as a regular pizza…so far I have been safe but you just need to be stern.
