The Detroit pizza with old and new world pepp was unbelievable! Zesty sauce but nothing that led to heartburn or bothered the kids. This is the best pizza i have ever had thats more deep dish in last 12 yrs since celiac! Super fun vibey place! And incredibly reasonable. Get 4 slices for gf and i coupd only eat 2 fyi. Got the gluten free crust for the Hawaiian with vegan chorizo. They clearly cooked it for the same amount of time as a regular pizza so the crust was quite burned, I was far too hungry to wait an additional twenty minutes for a remake. The pineapple bits were so tiny I couldn't really taste them. I've been wanting to come here for over a year now and I was so excited but the pizza was ultimately disappointing. However the bartenders were so wonderful, friendly and thorough.

Our family was in town for the week from AZ helping our daughter move in nearby. Both she & her dad are celiac so we tried the GF pizza. They both agreed it was one of the best they ever had. Buddy's is one of the few pizza places, in Detroit, which offers the full pizza menu as gluten free. What I like the absolute best, is I can customize my gluten free pizza anyway I wish from the original menu; and I do. Another great thing about Buddy's gluten free pizza is it taste great!!
