We happened upon this bakery traveling through Tennessee. I appreciated the gluten-free options. I had the Ruben sandwich with German potatoe salad my husband the pizza. Everything was delicious!!
Pizza Artista is my go to place for gluten free and dairy free pizza. Nowhere else in Clarksville has these combo options for dietary restrictions. I love how many options are available for toppings. Only problem has been that the line can back up. We typically do pick up but the environment is great too. Husband loves the on tap pay per ounce beer. Love seeing the community and family friendly events!
We dined in at Caprigios recently with some visitors from out of town. It did not disappoint! Amazing food and service !! We will be back again and again. I also really appreciated the cauliflower crust and gluten sensitivity precautions for an allergy in the group. Pizza was so fresh and the ranch was AWESOME if you’re a dipping lover like myself.
The regular pizza we ordered was good. But, the gluten free pizza was hard, dry, with very little toppings. We were stationed here in the 90s and love the regular pizza. I wouldn't recommend the Gluten free pizza tho...
We visited Central Pizza for the first time and we’ll definitely be back! The cauliflower crust/GF pizza crust was amazing! And picky celiac/5 year old approved, which is a hard thing to accomplish haha! They were knowledgeable about the necessary celiac precautions to take. They seemed pretty busy from a takeout/delivery standpoint, but we dined in. Customer service was great and they checked on us several times while we were there. We’ll absolutely return!
This was the 2nd time this month a "manager" from 1 store in Clarksville refused to help me from getting sick. She is horrible to me from the start in front of customers behind me.
A rude argumentive bleach blond with black roots "manager" has now denied the slight accommodation at Papa Murphy's Pizza to have employee put new gloves on and use clean brush to spread oil and garlic on my gluten free crust! The 1st time was 5pm and they were busy, even though when this person isn't there, everyone else gets the extra brush for my pizza. She is the only person in 3 stores who refuses to help me from getting sick, which I have on several occasions because of HER cross contamination! Yesterday I was in before 3pm, there were 2 people on the line making 2 pizzas.
When guy at register told her I needed a clean brush she rudely said it holds up production line so they were told they didn't "have" to do this. I asked why she wouldn't do it anyway when they weren't busy. This went on for several minutes.
Threatened to call police if I recorded conversation (which is legal in TN in public) and tried to refund my money. I refused to leave without my regular Tuesday night dinner. She claims they aren't a gf restaurant and I should not
eat there.
Why do they have a gluten free crust if people like me aren't allowed to eat it? Other ingredients are gluten free. Every other restaurant will accommodate in not cross contaminating my food, including Noodle n Company who use all clean pans and utensils to make my pasta! There are no completely gluten free restaurants but because I have Celiac they are required, BY LAW, to accommodate me and I'm not asking for anything time consuming.
The only way I could get a Pizza was if she made it her way without accommodation for my ADA covered disability for severe food allergy!!! I told her I would be filing another complaint against her and she told me to go ahead. She then left the line completely to call the owner with her "side". I am always nice when I ask for this accommodation, but when I'm treated rudely, I don't respond well! Nobody should put up with this and she needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY and the s5aff trained in cross contamination for ANY one who orders a gf crust.
I go in by 3pm now so I'm not holding up production line, yet she still uses hold up as her excuse.
I told her in the time she had been arguing with me and not making ANY pizzas, she could have already accommodated me.
Of course, I'm now starting to feel bad which means I'll be up til the sun rises in agony!
I have now also filed a complaint with the ADA and the BBB and will be calling an attorney tomorrow to see what my options are for them causing me pain and suffering on purpose!!! I would include this girl if I file a lawsuit!!!
Interesting pizza place! I loved the cheesy bread with Romano cheese. My family dug into that bread and the pepperoni pizza so quickly I hardly had time to snap a picture. The gluten free pizza was good and it comes in personal size. We had a 2 liter as our drink. The dine in area was spacious enough for about 40 people and there was two tvs on with different channels. The staff was courteous and patient too. The prices are a bit on the higher side but going out is a treat so it wasn’t too much of a big deal.
