Stopped by for a gluten free pizza. Staff was friendly, but pizza seemed a little overpriced - about $19 for a 10” pie.
Folks who have celiac: the ovens are shared. I don’t feel sick after eating there, but will update if I feel any pain.

I ordered a hibiscus margarita and cheese sticks with pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños with a side of marinara and ranch. I come here often and Jamie has been very sweet and attentive even during a chaotic rush. She makes sure all her tables are doing well and answers any questions about the menu. She offers gluten free pizza and desserts which are really good! Recommended trying their hubcaps, satisfies the sweet craving! Thanks for the great service Jamie! ☺️

Via 313 is my favorite pizza in Austin. You can never go wrong with the Detroit style pizza, the Detroiter is my go-to because of the double pepperoni. They also make really good meatballs and have an excellent gluten-free crust. Check out their Happy Hour!
I love this place and that they use healthier ingredients in their pizza. They use organic wheat for their crust, usually I have to eat gluten free but I am able to eat their crust. They also use olive oil which is much healthier the than the cheaper synthetic oils many restaurants use. I love pesto and their vegetarian pesto pizza is amazing! I also really enjoy their tomato sauce when I get a regular veggie pizza and like to add pineapple to it. Their custom cheese blend is great too!
Best Vegan Pizza in Austin!! We got the Meat lovers and Pina Jalapeño. I find it hard to find good vegan pizza with Gluten free crust and this had it all🍕
We love coming here for a tasty lunch or dinner with the kids in a family owned tranquil environment. I’m gluten free (celiac) and they always take excellent care of me - gluten free pasta and even gluten free meatballs!!
Went here for brunch and it was great! Pretty patio, and a mimosa flight is only $6! They have so many gluten free and vegan options, so there is something for everyone. Cute place

I parked in the wrong spot and ended up eating at LSP. Best mistake I ever made. Broccoli and sauce were worth the trip alone. I don't eat pizza but decided to try their gluten-free vegetarian pizza. Hold up!! I just had the best pizza I've ever tasted. Hard crisp crust and loaded with veggies that had a meeting and decided to make history.
Hands down one of the best gf pizzas I’ve had in Austin! The soft cauliflower crust that is wood fired and feels and tastes rustic. You won’t be disappointed!
Hands down my favorite gluten free pizza place. It tastes way better than Mod Pizza, and is highly underrated since most people in North Austin have never heard of it! They have toppings and sauces for after the pizza comes out, and they are great about food safety when it comes to allergies and the gluten free crust (which is amazing, by the way. Not dry or crumbly like some). And the staff is always friendly and efficient - it is apparent that everyone is trained well, with consistency. The place is clean, too. It never smells bad and the tables are usually clean. The only weird thing about this location is that the fountain drinks are hidden around the corner, on the way to the bathrooms. Also, they have a rewards punch card for free pizza!

MOD Pizza is far superior to most other pizzerias for a couple of reasons:
1.) Options. You can customize your pizza with exactly the type and amount of toppings you want. They even offer a cauliflower crust if you need a gluten-free option, and they have a vegan cheese you can sub out for their regular mozz if you're lactose-intolerant like me. Their vegan cheese tastes better than their regular mozz, IMO.
2.) Service. They are pretty fast compared to other pizzerias, and their staff is very friendly. If you happen to come by on a day that Brittany is working, be sure to say hi to her. She's their lead at this store and an all-around great human. (MOD: you need to promote her to be a manager already!)
For roughly $12 per 10" fully customizable pizza, this place is a great deal bar none!
They can do gluten free pizza’s that are pretty good. Not my favorite crust but the pizza flavor and crust crispiness are great together. I like the Cadillac and Hawaiian.
When you have five kids over and each one has different allergies, we love our neighboring Pinthouse Pizza for being able to customize pies, including gluten and dairy free sensitivities. Always delish!
The staff at this location is very friendly and hard working. Also, MOD is the best place to get a gluten free pizza. It’s the same size and quality as all the other pizza places, but way cheaper.

Great place for Italian food and especially gluten free! Our server Joey was phenomenal. He offers awesome suggestions. I thoroughly appreciate how well he took care of me and my family for Mother’s Day dinner. As a celiac, dining safely is priority and Joey went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
We love eating here. My husband and 2 year old are dairy free and gluten free and it’s our favorite place for df/gf pizza. The standard build your own pizza is also delicious. Their manager is really great and the staff is always helpful and friendly. We also love the outdoor space when the weather is nice.
Been here twice because their GLUTEN FREE pizza is so good! Their crust is amazing and thin and not to the point of hard that some pizzas are impossible to chew on.
We love Craigo’s! Affordable, quick, and great service. Best gluten free pizza in Austin. It’s great to be able to order a gluten free pizza that is large enough to feed 2-3 people.
My husband and I look forward to our Friday night takeout pizza here every week! Just walking in to pick it up...this is what a pizza place is supposed to smell like. It brings back so many good childhood memories of classic pizza parlors.
I am gluten free but can have the food here because of their imported Italian flour, and I am so thankful. It is the best pizza I've had, I love their dedication to quality and simplicity...can't say enough good things! I've also tried their salad, cannolis, calzones, and meatballs, and have never had something here that wasn't exceptional.
Thank you, DeSano's!!
It is a tiny deli with great food. Had a gluten-free grilled cheese sandwich, and fesh made potato salad (dill type, very yummmy), and their huge gluten-free chocolate cookie (omg) Absolutely going back!!
I know there are a lot of other great pizza places in Austin but I keep going back to MOD for several reasons.
They are great for people with dietary restrictions. My vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and nightshade allergy folks can all go here and find something yummy to eat. I, personally, can’t eat tomatoes so I love that they have several sauce options that aren’t tomato based. The garlic rub and the white sauce are my favorites.
MOD also has a lot of topping options and don’t charge extra for more toppings. Their ricotta cheese is great on a veggie pizza. Everything is fresh. Their crust is nice and thin and crispy so I don’t feel like I’m eating a whole loaf of bread when I eat a couple slices of pizza.
Their online ordering system is really good and easy to use. It just takes a minute or two to put in an order and then pick it up from the store.
The employees are MOD are very kind and helpful. They do a great job making sure I get all my toppings and that the bake is just right on the pizza.
Compared to other chains, this is the best pizza you can find.
We were seated with Jordan on Father’s Day. He was incredibly patient, friendly, knowledgeable (gluten allergies), and accommodating. Jordan made our experience very special and memorable. We will ask for him when we return!
We were searching for a place where they have gluten free pizza on Friday night. My husband suggested this place. We ordered a gluten pizza and 1/2 pie pizza. the receipt said “it’ll be ready in 55 min” which is surprising but we understood because we ordered around dinner time (8:45 pm). We arrived to pick up our order and the hostess told us that we have to wait 5-10 minutes more. Finally we got our pizza, arrived home pretty hungry and when we open the pizza box, the pizza looked pretty awful. We tried to eat it but literally was like the bottom of a shoe. The crust was hard, the ingredients were overcooked and with no flavor. It seemed like an old pizza. We waited so much time (1 hour 25 minute’s) for having a not so pleasant dinner. We waisted $50. We do not know how this place has 4.5 reviews, it hasn’t deserved it. Advice, if you want to eat pizza late, search for another place or buy a quick one in HEB that way you don’t have big expectations.
By far the best pizza in Austin. its actually in Bee Cave Texas but well worth the 12 minute ride from Austin. Best gluten free pie you could ask for as well as breakfast on the weekend
OMG this is the BEST gluten free pizza in Austin that I’ve had since moving here in 2010. East Side Pies did not disappoint these native Chicagoans! We ordered the Gluten Free “Stagger Lee” pizzas. Great sauce, fresh ingredients like big sized slightly spicy pepperoni, homemade Italian sausage and beautiful veggies all baked to perfection! La pizza è molto buona!!!
It has great pizza but they run out of non dairy and gluten free crust, not acceptable! I mean that is the whole idea of this place specialty pizzas. It’s upsetting cause my son can only eat non dairy and gluten fre.

The price of wings is outrageous. $12 for 6 wings and $24 for 12 wings. Wingstop does not charge that much and taste better. The wings here taste like they're rubber, chewy and reheated in the microwave.
The coffee tasted horrible, and need more dairy-free and gluten-free options.
The pizza on the other hand was GREAT, don't change that (the price could be a little cheaper though).
They make the BEST gluten-free pizza and they are SO kind about my need to modify my order. They call back to make sure the ingredients are okay for me. You don't see this kindness from pizza places. THANK YOU! The young woman that works there is so pleasant and the manager was really caring when they don't need to be. Back to the food- the buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite!! When I crave buffalo chicken theirs and their sauce is what I want. The ruben and the supreme are also delicious. So fresh and made with love. We got delivery and it was done within 8 minutes and picked up and it arrived 15 mins after that I couldn't believe it. Love this place!!!! Thank you so much for doing what you do.
Their gluten free pizza is a lot better than other gluten free pizzas I’ve had in the area. I got the Georgetown which was perfect. Love the marinara sauce on the side!

NOT GLUTEN FREE. They advertise a gluten free pizza, and when asked their staff promised that they take proper precautions. In reality, they put the gluten free pizza on the same surfaces, use the same ovens without any trays, use the same utensils, and slice it with the same slicer as the regular pizza. If I hadn't caught the issue it would have gotten my wife sick.
If you're going to advertise a gluten free food you should make sure You're putting in the effort to keep it gluten free. Cross contamination is a real problem.
Legit pissed paid I cant believe a restaurant in 2024 has the audacity to upcharge clients for Gluten Free. This should be outlawed. I'm paying $20 for a mini 10" pizza you can get a half of a normal pizza for literally half the cost and its the same size. This is outrages never again will I waste my money here.

I have sensitive issues with food. Their gluten-free pizza was delicious!
Very happy!!
My unit at work (UT Austin) often orders pizza for regularly occurring events from Craigo's, delivered. Service-wise, I am not aware of an issue. And reheat-ability is okay.
I haven't sampled every variety of food or even pizza from them, but they would not be among my top picks for pizza in this town [or overall]. The crust is meh and there isn't a wheat option. The gluten-free crust is pretty nasty in texture -- but if that's your scene, do you; it existing must be a bonus for some consumers. Sauce: not enough/ can barely tell it's there.
The Greek pizza is a tick better than tolerable thanks to garlic & pleasing toppings, but I'd sooner cook a $5-12 option from HEB, personally. I eat it when it trickles down for free.
Food was good, even the gluten-free pizzas were good
The nutela pizza was not really good - the chef didn't taste it when they created it
Sadly, the service was really bad - missing orders and forgetting what we asked and not even knowing what drinks they had on call
The gluten-free pie was amazing and Rochelle and Gianna’s positive attitudes and service made the experience 10x better. Really recommend if you’re in the area looking for a good meal.
