Have always made it a point to visit when in town. we usually spend a week in VA Beach at least 4 times a year. We have always ordered at least 3 times when we are in town. We decided to sit in at Chesapeake and was very, very disappointed 😞. First, I ordered soup and it was stone cold. Secondly the food came out in waves and everyone finished at separate times. Service was slow and inconsistent. Had to wait for dressing for salad. And finally we ordered Gluten-free cheese steak and this is the one reason why we visit. Not many gluten-free free choices but have always counted on YKnot. The cheese steak was inedible. I am glad that we found Bakers Crust and will be patronize them on our trips

It was a busy Saturday night, but is there ever an excuse for lumpy grits? And the individual in our party with celiac's disease (who made that fact very clear) was served a plate with fried onion strings on top of her entree. Also, no excuse!

This location is really close to my house. I am not sure if it is a local chain or National one. To make my order it takes about 15 minutes for 2 normal and 2 cauliflower pizzas. I am very pleased with their Gluten-Free options. The staff is incredibly nice. They have very good cleaning practice. And that goes the same for the back of the place. There is NO wall blocking view of the oven and prep area. Which I really like. They aren't hiding anything. Highly recommend.
