We dropped into this cafe for lunch today, and it was great! We were drawn in by the sign which said that they have a separate gluten free fryer. The owners were both super nice and helpful, said they can make almost everything gluten free and Coeliac safe (incl a separate storage and prep area!). We had the eggs benedict and the Sea Beast fisherman's basket with GF crumbs, and a mini pizza and chips for our little one, and were surprised with some freshly made GF banana bread. All tasted great and was very reasonably priced. We will be back for sure 😊 Thank you!

This is my first time going to Augellos, and I have to say they did not disappoint.
For someone like me who has allergies, there's a little uncertainty about going to a new restaurant.
When I asked the waiter, who turned out to be the manager. His reaction was no problems at all; just tell me what you can and can't have, and we'll make it happen.
Sigh of relief. I also saw on the menu they cater for people who are Gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan.
They also do takeaway.
They were fully booked, and they have a kitchen you can see into, which is always pretty cool to see. One thing I noticed is that the staff were not rushed or overwhelmed. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. Our meals didn't take forever to come out, and they were sensational.
I will definitely recommend booking ahead.
It's no wonder they are one of the longest-standing restaurants in Mooloolaba.

Pizzas were the worst we’ve ever had. So so salty felt like they’d been dipped in the ocean before being served. We ordered 4, one which was gluten free and it was beyond terrible. My friend got her money back as her crusts were clearly burnt and instead of making a new base — they just completely cut off the crusts hoping we wouldn’t notice.

Massive serves of food and a huge variety of dishes. Was also able to order gluten free for one family member. We came for karaoke Sunday and it didn't disappoint. We have been a number a times, thought they were having a bad day for food but again today waited over 45mins for food and had entrees and kid's meal come out the same time. The manager just wanted to argue with us about a dissatisfied meal and wait time. Meals weren't the best today and gluten free options available except chips and pizza. Won't be going back again.
