We really enjoyed our food once it arrived. At least two tables around us arrived & ordered after us & received their meals, had eaten & left before ours were ready. Great to have GF options, although definitely worth considering offering gf fries as they accompany many of the meals & are not coeliac safe. Offered our feedback in person on the day.

Of my family of 6 two of us have to eat Gluten Free. Whilst we were in Castlemaine we stumbled across this quaint little Chinese restaurant. Luckily we went there as soon as it opened because we soon realised it was a popular little place. You can’t imagine our joy when we realised they have an extensive Gluten free menu from lovingly prepared dumplings to various mains. So we decided to try some dumplings as a starter which were the bomb. Such flavour packed into each little morsel. All their soy sauce they use is also Gluten Free (tamari) so not even a concern sprinkling some onto our dumplings. The dumpling wrapper was light and delicate and clearly home made. Went on to try some Salt and Pepper Squid and some Sweet and Sour Chicken served with a side of plain rice. Was so good my son wanted more of the chicken so went up and ordered more. Was the first time my son was able to eat Chinese food since it’s really hard to find any close to our home that do Gluten Free. The two lovely ladies who I assume are the owners were absolutely lovely even while being run off their feet. Will definitely we going back to Castlemaine and eating here again. Luckily we enjoy travelling on the Vline trains! Thanks for amazing food and making our trip to Castlemaine a memorable one.

First time in The Royal Sultan and YOU have to go! It’s the cozy restaurant with amazing food. The Tandoori Chicken is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Food Presentation is next level. Even they got diverse options in food such Vegan and Gluten free. And the Dessert- how can we miss it Specially PAAN KULFI. Phenomenal Experience.

Great nori rolls. I love the availability of the healthier brown rice variants, and the delicious vegetarian, vegan options, and the fact that the sushi is all sugar-and gluten free. (But I admit I have occasionally succumbed to a house made donut or two, and they are delicious as well!)
