I never write reviews but after this last experience I felt like I had to! Was my second time here, and both have been so delicious and wonderful. The pemmican mousse (picture added) and sablefish are divine - I had to take the sablefish home and was literally thinking about it going to sleep excited to have it the next day because it was so delicious and cooked perfectly. Probably some of the best fish I have ever had. All the servers are so kind, atmosphere is perfectly relaxed but upscale. Highly highly recommend. Their hot apple cider is perfectly comforting and not too sweet. And the gluten free bannock was also so good it was almost indistinguishable from the regular one which is really nice as someone who is used to many gluten free options being subpar. 5/5 !!
My party of 6 was desperate for food after travelling from Tacoma. The hostess was amazing and was able to squeeze us in at 6pm on Boxing Day. Our server Vinse was an absolute legend in helping us out and ensuring my gluten-intolerant family were kept safe from any gluten. Thank you. Food was great! Poutine was fantastic, they took great care of the lobster mac and cheese, our risotto balls, the jambalaya, the salmon, and the burger. Highly recommend and it was both a harbour and a delight for my in-laws first time to Vancouver. Thank you, Rogue!
The food here is amazing. Its all very fresh and super tasty. Tons of options like home made, gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian. We love the Pho and get it almost every day of the week. I would highly reccomend this place as it truly has a little bit of everything and the staff are super nice, hardworking, and welcoming people! :)
Friendly Staff - Good spot for Vegans/Gluten Free - Sports and brunch in the move
Sunday funday brunch spot! Came here so we could watch sports and enjoy breakfast. We got the regular Eggs Benedict and eggs and toast. Portion sizes were good! Staff was super friendly, but the food wasn’t anything I’d rave about. Wouldn’t go way out of your way for a meal here but if it’s in the area it’s a decent spot to check out.
Lovely place. Excellent natural wine, nice food menu. I'm celiac and had options/they were really accommodating which is so nice. Plates were very small for the price but that is generally to be expected for this hood. This won't be a regular spot for me because $$$ but that ain't a thang for you then you'll love it.
Came here for my anniversary but the server did not take our allergies seriously and kept trying to push items that didn’t fit our dietary restrictions, worst of all they gave me the wrong main that had gluten in it and I’m celiac. The servers attitude was also quite pushy and giving I know better than you and acted like he knew what was gluten free and what wasn’t even tho the items that are gluten free are labeled on the menu. The server was pushing one item so hard we asked him three times to check with the kitchen if it was gluten free or not because he said it was and after we pushed him to check he came back and said yeah it’s not gluten free. The only nice thing about this place was the view but throughout the dinner I kept contemplating throwing the dishes and cutlery over the patio and into the water because of how frustrated I was with them
I was really pleasantly surprised by how many options this place has for vegan and gluten free folks! And by the prices, which are lower than other places that offer the same style of food. The service was pretty good - they could have been clearer when we explained that we had never been there (there are a LOT of different options for how you can put together your meal in terms of choosing sides and proteins to add on), but we figured it out. Overall, I had a delicious meal at a great price and I will definitely be going back.
