So I been going here to the barrhaven location for a long time n I love it the food is always fresh the potions are small depending whoās working but thatās not even my issue !! I recently found out I have a gluten allergy ! So I told the lady n asked her to change her gloves cause I canāt have my food contaminated she was kinda rude about it then passed it down the lane without telling the other lady so she didnāt change her gloves which I didnāt notice at first cause I thought the other girl would make sure, so comes to the third lady I had to tell her!! The customer service isnāt very good n when somone has an allergy they should take that very seriously!! I would love to b able to have a pita but unfortunately I canāt !! Move over I just want to make it known to who ever itās not our fault for our allergies ! Iām paying for ther service I expect good service n I donāt need the dirty looks !!
Had a great brunch today with my friends. The tables were properly separated, the servers wore their masks and did a great job disinfecting tables.
The food was delicious and had so many gluten free options (I have celiac) there were also great vegetarian options!
Will definitely go back again!
Please be cautious if you have a gluten intolerance or allergy... It was my first time ordering here and I explained to my waitress that I was gluten intolerant and asked what I could eat off of the menu... She showed me what I could order, and commented that the gluten free English muffin had rave reviews... I ordered the fit fare with the gf English muffin... Our food arrived, I tasted the gf English muffin and commented "this can't be gf" ... I had my mother taste it and she mentioned that it probably was... I ate about a quarter of it, and when the waitress passed by I commented on how good it was... She immediately said "that's not the gf English muffin"... I stopped eating and was immediately upset...i specified my dietary restrictions, I asked for help in choosing appropriate options...and still I was served something that made me incredibly sick and sent me to the hospital... Two days off work, and still recovering...
My wife and I went for date night here and we were not disappointed. We were told it would be about a 20 minute wait to be seated and the staff were extremely accommodating and said we could sit at the bar and get drinks while we waited. Upon ordering our drinks my wife realized that she had ordered a wine she had tried previously that she did not like.
Once we were seated promptly to a table my wife asked if she could exchange her glass of wine for one she knew she liked. Shortly after the manager arrived at our table. She was friendly, warm, and exchanged my wifeās glass of wine for another wine she enjoyed. I cannot stress enough just how great the managers presence was.
On top of the outstanding service; Kelseyās has truly elevated the quality of their food. And they accommodated my wife who was still able to enjoy the famous spinach dip with corn chips because sheās gluten free.
We will most definitely go back to this location.
5 guys is the best. Tell them in person for your order that your celiac and they shout it down the line. Lettuce wraps are safe - fries in a dedicated fryer. Always delicious, always clean, and staff are up beat and positive.
Thank you for the excellent meal. Thank you for accommodating my gluten free allergy. You guys made 4 people very happy tonight. Highly recommended. Must try.
Great bar with lively atmosphere but not too loud that you canāt talk to the people at your table. There are so many beers and everyone enjoyed the ones they tried. There is a good selection of mocktails for those looking for non alcoholic drinks and different ciders for gluten free. We tried the scorched old fashion and sangria neither were overly impressive. I would stick to the beer/cider next time. There are gluten free options on the menu, I went with the Soco Chicken it comes with a nice sauce, the vegetables were well cooked and a huge chicken breast. It was nicely plated and tasted great! Another person we were with had the chicken burger it looked great. The Chicken Curry Rice bowl looked great also and was enjoyed, not a spicy curry more on the sweeter side. Our server was great, very friendly and quick service. We would go back again!
My husband and I went to this place for lunch this weekend and it was quite a pleasant surprise. We didn't know about this restaurant but what a great discovery! Very small restaurant in a gas station, retro look. Varied menu and several options for dietary restrictions (gluten-free options among others). Familiar atmosphere, very reasonable prices, wonderful and fast service, good and delicious quality of food, meals served hot. I hope I have the chance to go back! Thank you for everything. We loved our first visit/experience! Good continuity!
Visited last night. Overall, we enjoyed our meals. However: it was very loud (in general, not due to music) and we all had trouble hearing each other from one end of the table to the other (two tables pulled together). The waitress seemed distracted/bothered and/or couldn't hear us herself and twice missed something that was requested. Ordered a lemon drop martini ($14!!!) and the glass was about 3/4 full, almost like someone had taken a sip or two before it was served, and the stem of the glass was sticky. All of our food was lukewarm instead of hot. For the women, there was only one bathroom with only two stalls, and one was out of order, causing lineups of 3 people or more at times. And finally, there was nothing on the menu to indicate which meals were gluten-free except for mentioning that gluten-free buns were available for burgers. The waitress didn't know either. We were surprised that something that simple was left off the menu; there were spots for alcohol-free items on the menu, but nothing to show what was gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. The food was tasty though and we all particularly enjoyed the whipped feta with sundried tomato pesto appetizer, but it needed another naan with it as we had cheese left over; We wound up eating the rest of the cheese with our utensils.
The spot here hits all the marks if you're looking to quench your thirst with refreshing drinks or satisfy your sweet tooth with some quality desserts. Also noticed some vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. The team pays close attention to customers, and it's always tidy. It's a good chill spot.
Ordered on line, within one min I called to change the pizza I ordered from gluten-free to keto and they said it was is in oven. We spend over a 100 for every order and was gonna pay the extra $8 and they wouldnāt budge. Last time we order from them.
Ordered here a few times. We have a gluten allergy in the household so the first time there were a lot of questions. Dhrumi helped us every time we were there and was excellent as we always make a big order. Delicious tacos, great service.
4 of us went for dinner. 3 of us had never been to Saffron in the past. The price for the table was very reasonable. The service was attentive and patient. They were able to serve all our main dishes as gluten free. Each dish had a wonderful, distinct and delicious taste. Portion sizes were generous. We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant.
