I was running late one day so l stopped at Hero Burger at Weston rd and hwy 7 and I was really impressed that gluten free buns were available there. The people working there are just amazing very friendly always smiling. Their burgers are so delicious. After that I was stopping there about 3 times a week to pick up burgers. Now I actually Call them before l go and they recognize my voice and when I get there my order is ready. I've been doing this for the last year now and the burgers are always amazing and delicious. Thanks to everyone who works at Hero Burger at Weston and hwy 7 you guys are awesome .
Came in on a Saturday a few minutes before closing and got the most welcoming service one can hope for.
The food was fresh, and very flavourful. Ordered 4 different dishes and each one tasted different.
The gluten free pizza was excellent!
A true hidden gem!
We stopped by before a business meeting to celebrate my partner’s birthday and were lucky to have the place to ourselves. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an open kitchen concept that made the experience feel extra special. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive — the service was top-tier.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the shrimp tostada (a must-try!), the lamb, and the hen — all perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Even the starter salad was memorable, with incredibly fresh ingredients. Every dish was a solid 10/10.
To top it off, they surprised us with a gluten-free, dairy-free brownie to celebrate the birthday — a thoughtful touch that meant a lot, especially with my dietary restrictions. They were so mindful and accommodating. This spot checks all the boxes for me — can’t wait to come back!
The entire staff is absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to Alexia for helping me figure out what is gluten free. Definitely will be returning food and service was great!
I recently hosted our work holiday party here. What a wonderful evening! Thank you to all of the staff, we had such a lovely evening.
We were a large party of over 20 with a set menu. All of the food was delicious and offered our guests many options including Vegan/ Vegetarian, and gluten free. Can’t wait to return for the amazing truffle pizza. Special thanks to Bruno
Great pizza, same great taste like always. They even have gluten free options. The women that usually helps us is very sweet and friendly. Sometimes wish they had more slice options available when I come in but it’s usually not a long wait, especially if they are making a fresh one.
Your general sports bar with your basic eats. Everything we got at our table (4 different dishes) was mediocre at best to the point where those who had leftovers didn't want to take it home. We had servers switch and at some point and a drink order was missed. The facility itself is very clean and pleasant enough to eat in with enough screens to watch whichever sporting event is on. Also, the lack of gluten free options was a bit disappointing.
We visited That's Italian after reading great recommendations on a local Facebook group. The staff were friendly and our antipastos were delicious. However, when our meals were brought out we were told the gluten free pizza would take a few extra minutes which was fine. But four of us had finished our meals, and the fifth person still hadn't received her gluten free pizza. We were told by 3 different waitresses "it's coming right out" in a span of 20 minutes. When I personally went up to ask the waitress about the pizza, she had checked with the chef who stated it would be another few minutes. At this point it had been 1 hour and 20 minutes since our order was entered into their system, and we were still waiting for one meal. The waitress mentioned she could give us a free dessert, however I asked if she could just do a bill discount instead since we had to leave & we were all full. She explained that the gluten free pizza has to be made separate which I completely understand and I appreciate the effort that's put into their allergy precautions, however 1 hour and 20 minutes is a little absurd. After she checked with the chef, she stated he's only willing to offer a dessert but due to the amount of time we'd had already been waiting, the waitress said she'd pay for the gluten free pizza herself. It's disappointing that the waitress could only provide this option by paying out of pocket. We were also there to celebrate a birthday, which was told to the staff who greeted us at the door but no celebration or anything was made, as they mentioned they'd do.
Good tasting food, good service. They were very amiable, and helped ensure whatever we ordered had gluten or not because of gluten-free family member.
But it's pricy considering the serving size.
Love the fries here.
They don't have gf buns.
I'm sorry, but can't remember what the burger tastes like. I was too busy trying to hold my lettuce "bun" together.
This place should use the unbuns. They're keto, and gluten free.
My friends and I were looking for a place to eat and stopped at Earls. The restaurant closed at 12 am and we arrived by 11 pm. The hostesses informed us that the wait could take up to 30 min. Ten minutes later we were sitted. The waitress looked at us from the kitchen and complained to one of her friends that we had just arrived. She was the least welcome person I had seen and took our orders in a rush as the kitchen would close at 11.45 pm. We ordered fries to start and our dishes. The one I chose wasn't available so I had to pick something else. Right after that the fries and my dish arrived at the same time. My friends food took over 10 minutes to arrive and one of the dishes was a salad. The salad came with croutons, wich were not mentioned in the menu, and my friend, who is gluten intolerant, could not even eat her food, and at that point was too late to order something else. They took our drinks and they didn't ask if we wanted refills. The food was very average and my dish, that was a tortellini, had fettucinni pieces in it. Overall this was one of the worst experiences we had in the recent times in a restaurant. We won't be coming back and I don't recommend. There are better places in the premisses.
